my review of stasher bags;
i purchased the pocket size, to go size, sandwhich size, half gallon, and a small reusable bowl. it came in a VERY compact bag. i was shocked by how much they were able to fit in such a small paper bag.
the pocket size is the most flexible of the bunch, which honestly isnt that great for what im going to use it for (storing joints and lighters) and the seal is much more difficult to open than the others. it's bigger than expected, too, which isnt too bad if you want to have snacks in it. it really is big enough to fit a credit card.
the to go size is wayyy bigger than i thought but at the same time... way smaller than it looks. i was only able to fit 3 salve tins and a tube of afterbite. i was expecting to be able to fit a lot more. the seal is good though and i love the carabiner it comes with.
the reusable bowls are by far my favorites. theyre super easy to fill and theyre flexible enough to squish the stuff around inside without being TOO flexible. i bought this one forst and it's the reason i decided to buy all the others. i use it for my rice everyday
the sandwhich and half gallon bags have good seals, but in my opinion theyre way too flexible and also have a very different texture than the other bags. they feel less like silicon and more plasticy, which is very weird.
next time i buy more stasher bags im going to get more stand up bags and bowls. overall, with discounts, this cost me about $70. however, if you quuckly calculate how much a variety of ziplocs would cost over the period of a month or two-- stasher is the cheaper option by a long shot.
and more durable, by a long shot.
