Tagged by @splix71 to say what I’d want to see in The Final Problem, to a maximum of four points (and to tag a few others). Honestly, I haven’t thought that far ahead, but here’s what first springs to mind:
1. I’d really like it to clarify whether everything we’ve seen in the first two episodes was intended to be ‘real’, and if not, exactly how much of it was. This is driving me crazy because I don’t feel I can properly start digesting things until I know where I stand *g*. In particular, I want to know if Mary really got shot in the aquarium, or whether my crackpot theory about something happening en route to the hospital has any merit at all.
2. I want to know all about Euros (I’m sticking with this spelling for now) - where she ‘fits in’ in relation to the rest of the Holmeses, where she’s been, what she’s done, what her connection is with Moriarty (I’m assuming there is one given the hints). My current guess is that she once worked for Mycroft in some secret service capacity and ‘went rogue’. I don’t personally think she killed Redbeard, but I would not be that surprised if she proved to have, either. I also kind of want to know whether the therapist was called “Hope”, because that would amuse me.
3. I want as much of Mycroft as humanly possible, given the understanding that he will be perfectly fine, as I’ve been insisting all along. If anything happens to anyone, it’ll be Euros (she says defiantly).
4. While I don’t see how it can plausibly come to pass in this episode, I want at least an indication that Sherlock and John will in the future be back at Baker Street together solving cases the way they used to.

Celebrating Splix
Hi friends! @splix71‘s birthday is July 8th and in memory of our fellow fan and friend, I thought it would be lovely to celebrate her spirit that day. Share your favorite of her brilliant fics, a story you might have of her, a picspam or old post you think she would have loved, maybe a prayer or a poem, or anything you’d like to share to honor her memory. She is so incredibly missed and I think this would be a fun and comforting way to commemorate her. There’s zero pressure, of course, but I’ll share this post a few times between now and then in case you’d like to participate.
