Today, my small blog reached 900 followers, LOL.
Thinking back to just over two years ago, when I only had one follower 😂😂 And was quite happy to continue that way.
This has made me realise how much I've loved being part of different fandoms, and meeting new creators, friends and people to yap with along the way.
From my JJK craze, including all things Nanami, to my continuing obsession with MHA's Fat Gum, to my all-too-happy delve into BG3 with my fellow Astarion enjoyers, to riding across the plains with my hunter wife Olivia and my other hunter friends in Monster Hunter Wilds, and of course, exploring the muscular torso of Captain Obi ... this has been quite a journey.
My current fixation is (obviously) Kaiju no. 8 and the dashing Vice-Captain Hoshina, and I've been privileged enough to interact with some truly talented writers, artists and fellow fans on here. 🧡🧡🧡🧡

There is something so special, so unique, so untouchable about fandom friendship. It started out with “oh hey, we both like this thing. Cool :)” and has somehow turned into “yeah I’ll drive 13 hours to come see this thing you worked so hard on. It’s only two hours and I probably won’t even be able to see you? That’s fine. I just want to support you :)”. From “oh you’re so cool. I’m kinda nervous to talk to you, I really hope you like me” to “let’s celebrate our birthday together. Yeah it’ll be two years, but I’m already plotting 😼” Never in my life have conventional friends been so close to that. No, I can’t call you up out of the blue to get dinner with you, but I’ll email you my leftovers. Maybe we’ve never been within a hundred miles of each other, but I’d be there in a heartbeat if you need me. Who cares if there’s an ocean between us? I’d learn to walk on water just to get to you.
