To look for it// I've heard being grateful activates the brain stem region that produces dopamine, boosts serotonin and in general can make you happier. But it's not finding gratitude, but the activity of looking for it itself that apparently brings out all that good stuff in our brains. So I want to take today, and everyday to thank the world. It means thanking the air, the food, the comfort, the love, you, me, everything that my life is full of. When I begin anything from this perspective of love and fullness and gratitude, I am happier. The key, I've learnt, for me is to look for it. Knowing well, that it's not possible for everyone to always look given their circumstances of course, I do believe that happiness is something everyone wants. I just want to take this moment, to remind you and me, to look for it. Close or open your eyes and look for the smallest thing around you to be grateful for just for this moment. Look around you, inside you. It could be anything or everything. . . . . . . Inspired from a beautiful @ologies podcast I heard that inspires me to this day.
