this is the pubby we're adopting btw :] i haven't posted her here yet i think bc i'm so worried about jinxing it. she's about ten months old, unknown breed but assumed shepherd/whippet/pittie, and such a sweet little wiggly goober. i'm so excited!!!!!!!!! her name is canelita

#bark bark #dogblog #she gets here at the end of the month! we were having trouble finding dogs who fit our requirements in the local spca #(i.e. small to medium size; tested around cats and showing no or minimal prey/chase drive; short-haired with a functional snout)#so we contacted a rescue. she comes from baja california! these photos are from her foster #she's apparently very tolerant of being Scooped as long as she can give you face kissies and thinks the vacuum is a toy to wrestle #i would love to embark test her eventually but $$$#it will not change how i love her but it's always interesting to me to see breed mixes on street dog rescues!#one of my work clients who looks very similar to her just got embark tested #and came back as like. mostly pittie + some shepherd + AKITA??? SOMEHOW??#anyways i'd love to know what's in this girl! her siblings look much more whippet-y so that's my strongest guess #and that reads as a pittie head to me
