For those who have been following and supporting my prep journey--today would've marked my week and a half out from show date. Unfortunately my personal life has taken a massive shift and I had no choice but to start eliminating any other stressors I had control over, to maintain my sanity. I am incredibly sad and a little disappointed that this journey had to come to a sudden stop--especially after prepping since February. At the end of the day we have to make choices for ourselves. This show was supposed to be for me, and me only. And right now is just not my time. I hope to get back on prep before the end of the year before my NPC card expires. But for now, I'm just taking it day by day. Thankfully, despite feeding my body complete garbage for the last few days (eating my feelings/finding happiness in my tastebuds lol), I feel good knowing I haven't undone a lot of the work I've put in. I'm sure in a couple more days I'll be craving the clean lifestyle I've been living. I am so so so grateful for my great friend and AMAZING TRAINER @gabbefit --- thank you for your heartfelt support, knowledge, and guidance through this journey. Hopefully we can pick up where we left off, later this year! I love you! Thanks for being such a wonderful friend ❤️ And special shoutout to @missmodernpinup for not judging me when all I wanted was to eat nonsense after deciding the competition was off lol.
