Sometimes, the simplest magic hits the hardest. One ingredient. One intention. One thread of energy pulling reality into place.

Not every spell needs a full altar setup. Sometimes, one thing is enough.

Here are a few one-ingredient spells you can actually use:

• Salt — sprinkle it at your door for protection.

• A candle — light it and focus on what you want to call in.

• A glass of water — leave it by your bed to absorb bad dreams.

• A key — carry it to open new opportunities.

• A feather — keep it on your altar for guidance and clarity.

• A coin — place it near your front door to attract money.

Keep it simple. The magic is in your intention, not the ingredients.

Simplicity is a spell of its own. Complexity is a choice, not a requirement.

Need to cleanse & bless your space in a pinch? Maybe you’re doing a quick spell before you leave the house? Had a not so friendly guests just leave? Or maybe the vibes just feel a little stale??

Then this spell is the perfect thing for you! 🫧🌿

Tools:

• clean & empty spray bottle of any size

• 80% alcohol (rubbing alcohol is perfect)

• water (moon water is even better)

• essential oils that correspond with your intent (for this spell I will focus on cleanse and bless)

Oils:

- Lemon: Cleanse the space

- Lavender: Peace of mind and calmness

- Rosemary: Protection (& just about anything)

- Orange: Happiness & Vitality

- Lemongrass: Purify

- Eucalyptus: Cleanse & Purify

- Patchouli: Draw money in

- Rose: Love & Healing

- Honeysuckle: Success & Joy

- Peppermint: Good Luck & Banish bad vibes

- Frankincense: Cleanse & Bless (by raising the vibrations as it cleanses)

Steps:

1. Add your chosen oils to the bottle ~ for cleansing and blessing I like to use lemon or lemongrass with lavender for a fresh floral scent

2. Add 1 parts alcohol water to 2 parts alcohol until the bottle is full

3. Close up and give it a shake!

4. Optional but you can choose to enchant this spray bottle for extra power by smudging it in incense smoke like dragons blood or frankincense! You can even charge it in the Full Moon with your crystals 🌙✨

Whether it's a current friend, former friend, or any other long distance relationship you may have, this simple spell was created to send good wishes from a distance.

Things you will need:

Birthday candle: wishes, personal growth, happiness in

Candle scribe/marker: for carving/writing the name of the target into the candle

Match/lighter: to light the candle

Compass: to aid in finding the right direction to blow the candle out in

Candle holder (optional): to hold the candle if you wish to let it burn down for a bit

While holding the candle, take a moment to focus on your target. Think of the wishes you'd like to send their way.

When you're ready, take your scribe/marker and carve/write your target's name into/on the candle.

To ensure that you send your wishes their way, use a compass to find the direction of your target's location (this doesn't have to be exact, a vague direction will work just fine).

If you're under a time constraints or wish to repeat this spell several times for the same person, blow the candle out immediately and store it in a safe place.

If you have more time and wish to let the candle burn down more, place it in a holder and blow it out just before it burns out.

When I gave it to her I told her how to make black salt for her own protective uses.

The theory of this is, since the little vial of black salt I gave her is simply corked, and not sealed, it can be uncorked, so it can kind of meander with the space she's in, absorbing & banishing any already existing negative energy while also rebuffing/repelling any new negative energy that would try to come into the space. It's as simple as "shake then uncork the jar to enact spell" type of cleansing.

To be fair, the vial I gave her is maybe less than an inch tall, it's a tiny thing, but she also now knows how to make her own black salt if she feels the need for more.
