simple skincare ritual

a new routine to try for cleansing and replenishing energy while taking care of yourself :)

start with black soap for your face and body, a little goes a long way. this will cleanse your energy and banish negative energy as well.

apply witchhazel to your face and wherever else you would like to clean and tone (safe for privates) . This is also for additional cleansing.

next, apply your face treatment (mine is a 7 in one from dollar tree) I fuse my own intentions into it and apply with a guasha. i wish to increase beauty and slim my face.

then apply lotion (all over) mixed with rose oil for self love, almond oil for healing and abundance, also vanilla oil for attraction and good luck.

you can also wave clear quartz around your body for amplification!

breakfast spell for a peaceful transition:

i made this up because my life is changing a little bit and i want things to go smooth!

a small meal for impending change :3

coffee for protection and a little boost

some maple for longevity

creamer with milk (any flavor) for prosperity and healing

add a tiny bit of butter for peace and change

and cinnamon for success (i use chinese 5 spice which contains cinnamon)

enjoy some strawberries for luck with milk chocolate for positivity and prosperity

hang out with some amethyst for decision making, clear quartz for amplification, and selenite for intuition

This is a spell recipe my talented mother shared with me. This recipe heals and protects spiritually and physically. She suggests taking a tablespoon daily, with a non-metal spoon. This protects the physical immune system with a blast of antioxidants. This potion does not need to be refrigerated, so I keep it on my kitchen counter.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Honey (1 cup), for physical healing & to attract positivity

Turmeric (1 tbs), for the healing power of the Sun & to purify aura

Black pepper (1 tsp), to banish negativity, boosts immune system

Cinnamon (1 tbs), spiritual & physical healing

Ginger powder (1 tbs), to speed up healing & protect good health

Here’s what you’ll do:

Combine all ingredients using a non-metal spoon & stir in intentions of good health with clockwise motions

Inspired by recent discourse on spellcasting daily, I thought I'd share some of what I consider low-energy & quick spells. While I love to do ceremonial work and big rituals, what's most practical is to infuse my daily life with witchcraft. I'm sharing this to show that spell casting doesn't always need to be time & energy consuming -- many of these small spells will actually help bring energy throughout the day. 🏹

🌻 Morning altar time, with daily intention setting. For me, sometimes this goes along with a little tarot magic, like using the energy from a corresponding card to help boost that intention for my day. I'll light an electric candle on top of the card to seal my intention, and leave it "burning" for 15 minutes. If I don't have time for that, I'll just leave a quartz on it.

🌻 Protective bubble, which is an absolute necessity to me since I'm an empath. Witches can, of course, seal themselves in a bubble of whatever their intention may be, doesn't always have to be just protection. It usually takes me five-minutes to do this.

🌻 Crystal spells are a go-to. Either a grid to represent my current goal, or I'll intentionally add stones to a sachet to bring their powers with me for the day. I'll usually visualize a glowing light getting brighter and brighter in the sachet until I've added the final stone.

🌻 Charging/activating spell bottles or using pre-made powder/oil/incense depending on what's called for during the day

🌻 Whispering intention into water, or brewing it in coffee/tea

🌻 Lighting a pre-consecrated candle to aid with a mundane task, like focusing, cleaning, or even home-blessings if your day calls for it

🌻 Gratitude journaling

🌻 Even going for a walk can be a spell, letting the Earth and Air assist

Fast forward to today: my boyfriend is in the kitchen putting dishes in the dishwasher when I hear an “oh no”. One of our glass bowls broke. Instead of letting him throw it out, I cleansed a jar and then cleansed the glass with flowing water. I now have a jar of glass and I’m excited to see how much negative energy it will keep away from me.

Eggshells! Great protection qualities and can also be used for renewal spells as well. A good easy spell would be sprinkling bits of it around the front of your home with the intent of providing protection

Salt, a classic cleansing ingredient that you'll find in your mom's kitchen. Various kinds have slightly different properties. Tip: if you add ashes to it, then it becomes black salt, which in my experience is very a strong cleanser especially if you add a bit of moon water. It becomes a paste and can be used for various things such as sigils

Iron nails. Not only protective, but can deflect back. Like a "back the fuck off" kind of protection. Bonus if it's rusty

Thorny vines, barbs, etc can function like nails

Pinecones. Similar to eggshells, but a bit more spicy (mess with me and I'll nip you back) but not as intense as nails. Also has great renewal properties since it's a seed

Obsidian, a great protective crystal to have on hand

Custom protection sigil, all you need is a pen, paper, and intuition. Or just write it with charged water on yourself

Moon water, especially full moon water. Very strong cleansing

Incense and smoke cleansing, I like using rose. DO NOT USE WHITE SAGE

Enchant jewelry or something you have on you on a regular basis with protective and positive energy properties. It can be as easy as making a sigil for it and activating said sigil by burning or tearing it up or dipping it in charged water. Very secretive!

Pepper! Again, similar to the nails, but with an added kick and slightly different way of carrying out things. Instead of deflecting immediately, it deflects over a slower period of time, like how burns do
