Empathetic people attract abusive spirit, it is the light that the shadow seeks to consume.

Do people ever ask themselves “what can I do for this person?” instead of always “I like this person because they can give me xyz.” Seriously sit with this for a moment.

To those who do act on the former: thank you, thank you, thank you, for being you. I so appreciate your attentive souls. This world would be shitty asf honestly.

As for the rest: being a vampire isn’t cute no more. Your attitude is energy sucking. People are not benefits, commodities or status accesories.

Instead: be curious about them, ask them questions, give them attention about their life and interest. Learn about their needs. Do kind gestures even if they didn’t request it. Especially if they didn’t request. Some of us think we’re too needy if we even ask.
