rereading THE rictor post again and thinking about how many times we forget some core parts of julio.
Like he's so funny, he loves dancing and going out. He struggles with masculinity and yet he loves playing with fashion and different styles, and not exactly in a "masculine" way including his hair and accessories. Sometimes to the point it's too much or tacky but it's fun!!
I don't like when all people talk in reference to him is being a repressed man with internalized homophobia when he's MUCH MORE THAN THAT. His internal conflicts go beyond that, his character goes beyond being gay and in love with his best friend. I understand that's a huge part of his character, but that's not all. He's a little punk gremlin who loves pranks and makes dirty jokes, but he's also a huge nerd. He's not the "sane one" nor the "normal one". His background and fact he comes from Mexico makes him for me already very interesting and my favorite character ever.
He cares too much about nature and loves riots and speaking truth to power. Like he's loud and vocal about what's right and wrong and we see that from his very first appearances when he calls out x-factor (they needed a poc to tell them why their plan was stupid)
He's heroic and strikes to be better and help people, he's so caring and kind. He's an asshole but also surprisingly friendly (he is always making new friends in every new team he's part of, or place like that boarding school) which is very mexican of him imo. So many people care about him and that tells you how good of a friend and person he is, and I could go on but op post is already perfect
Do I make a new fake Rictor MTG card using the unreleased Quake one?
Yes
No
Buy the card instead and tape a photo of Rictor over it (I don’t play white)
The idea of Monet taking Rictor to a spa after he and Shatterstar fight for Pride Month
