Roxanne "Roxy" Washington is Bling!, a Black lesbian hero w/ the mutant power to generate shards of diamond from her body & launch them from the body at will; daughter of two rich & famous hip-hop music artists, she's used to the finer things in life, but still chose to leave fame behind, instead aiding her fellow mutants in fighting oppression & injustice, whether that be as part of the younger Generation X class, or alongside various rosters of X-Men!

I did read Bizarre Love Triangle because it was Roxy's introduction & yes I was mostly disappointed (she doesn't do much) but I think it's interesting how she very clearly, like, gets people and has a fairly intuitive understanding of team dynamics and such, which is a very good character trait. But she's also like 16 about it and is still learning how to like... fine tune. Which, again, very good character thing, especially for a kid. I don't know if that gets carried over to Roxy's later appearances. Disappointing if it didn't.
