The Young Avengers turned up at the Avengers Mansion as they are invited by one of the senior Avengers. Just as they arrive, they found that the gates were locked. Before the Young Avengers could do anything, the gate opens when the button is pressed. Speed runs in impulsively until he was thrown out by force. Then, chaos ensues when the mansion’s defense systems start to fire at them and grab the Young Avengers. While everyone are busy trying to fend off the machines, only Wiccan had shielded himself and he waltzes to the mansion by repeating his spells. Wiccan manages to figure out the right passcode which turned the security systems off. Then, Hawkeye appears to congratulate the kids for passing their test. Thus, the Young Avengers are allowed into the mansion where they start to mingle with the adults.

Summary: Still, Tommy could not look away from the fire. When he closed his eyes, the tendrils writhed across his eyelids in technicolor, consuming Billy at their heart. No matter what he did, the flames kept burning and Billy kept screaming. It was almost funny; he wasn’t sure Billy was even aware he’d been screaming, but Tommy would never forget the sound as long as he lived, smoke-stripped and pain-soaked as it was. He’d tried to talk over it, to drown it out with his own empty assurances, but it hadn’t worked. That helpless feeling crept back over him, his near-constant companion since Baba Yaga’s, and Tommy fisted his hair in his hands, as though he could wrench the memory out by the roots along with it. Not even seeing his twin safe and uninjured or the brief hug they shared had made the screaming in his head abate. Nothing had. “Tom? Y’alright?”
