The first time Kyoko Kirigiri kissed Byakuya Togami was in the doorframe of her front room. No words had been exchanged after a long night of investigation furthering the demise of Hope’s Peak Academy. With her arms crossed, and his in his pockets, each leaned in for three moments before breaking apart. That was that, and Byakuya quietly left the room.

The second time Kyoko Kirigiri kissed Byakuya Togami was in the exact same spot, the night after. A similar investigation had taken place late into the night, multiple empty teacups resting on saucers on a white coffee table. The kiss was still and gentle, in a similar fashion to the night’s prior. Byakuya then snaked a hand to the back of her neck, cradling her scalp while the other rested on her waist. She followed suit, placing both hands on his chest. They rested like that, only for a while, before Byakuya left the room once again.

A week had passed before they kissed again. Schedules conflicted, crises averted, and the need for late-night investigations watered down. A knock on Kyoko’s door interrupted the silence and a kettle of tea over a game of chess was proposed. Before either could declare checkmate, the pair had placed themselves side by side on Kyoko’s parlor couch, Byakuya’s hands slowly moving from her hair, to her waist, her hips, her legs, her face. Kyoko’s lips firmly rested on his own, two hands moving from his face to loosen his tie. She swore she heard a murmured “I missed you” when she kissed him goodbye late into the night.

The first time Kyoko went to Byakuya’s apartment, she was promptly shoved against his front door, neck peppered with firm, hard kisses. She rolled her head back, shrugging his navy blue Tom Ford suit jacket to the floor. Led to his leather couch, she lay horizontal as he crawled atop of her, kissing her with intricate, focused detail. Rolling his sleeves up, Byakuya ran his hands up and down her body as Kyoko’s hands tangled in his hair. A slight imbalance caused the pair to tumble to the floor, and with a quiet snicker from the two of them, Byakuya resumed their activities, pulling Kyoko onto his lap in a fluid motion. He kissed her hard, and they stayed like that for the rest of the night before Kyoko snuck out of the building.

Two months, and many; many kisses later, Byakuya took Kyoko out to the fanciest restaurant in Tokyo to confirm their relationship. In the back of the limousine on the ride to Kyoko’s apartment, they sit side by side, his hands slowly sneaking up the side of her dress and her hands pulling his face close to hers. The couple hastily opened the apartment door, kicking their shoes off. Kyoko removed Byakuya’s tie, tugging it off which earned her an almost inaudible grunt from his mouth. They stumbled slowly to her bedroom as she unbuttoned his shirt and crawled atop of him on her bed, ardently placing her lips on his.

He'll push himself too far, too caught up in proving himself, and be scolded during aftercare. It's SO embarrassing, especially if the partner is stern but kind about it (looking at you, Makoto, Mondo, Ishimaru, Leon). If he's beat up enough, emotionally or physically, he'll be giving the silent treatment big time until his ego builds up again. This can only be cut short by grand romantic gestures, bonus if they're embarrassing for the partner, and sexy flattery/schmoozing.

Kirigi will just tell him no to begin with and that brings its own kind of shame. She has no problem goading/baiting him into getting over himself though, way faster than anyone else can. Byakuya can't keep his mouth shut for long ;)

I ADORE THIS STOP OMG his pride is his downfall😭✌️ He's got ego for days and theres probably some underlying issues with it but thats neither here nor there! I can absolutely see this, he also overestimates himself, he thinks he can handle it, hes a togami and hes supposed to be able to handle anything! But I imagine his partners try to help him work through that mindset and take really good care of him should things ever go too far- I especially like this idea paired with the hc that he's not super experienced but loves the thrill of things and not having to be in control for a change, but he's not quite worked out all of his limits just yet- But again, thats what the aftercare is for!

also togiri mention absolute fire she is the perfect dom for him and i love them <3 Honestly I think Byakuya has a lot of genuine respect for her so I can see it branching multiple ways- He sees her as closest to an equal which has him either being bratty because he doesnt want to admit that, because shes smart and usually right and hes embarrassed- OR genuinely more quick to listen and fold for her because aforementioned smart and respectable. Or because she has a way of getting under his skin he's all the more determined to try to prove himself, be it for his own pride or to impress her- or both! either way absolutely fire <3
