Excuse my incoming rambling to answer your question.

You first have to ask yourself a question before deciding that.

Which one would help you in the long run to write your story.

I also think it really depends on what kind of pacing you want people to consume it at, chapters are good if you wanna keep people wanting for more (very enjoyable experience I feel), but the instant gratification of getting it all out there at once is also Very Nice.

I find with slightly larger things (anything over 5k words for me personally) it's less stressful if I break it up in chapters so I'm only focusing on one part at a time.

Now that only really works (again, personally) if I already have an outline of the story, my multi chapter fics for example -as you can probably tell- are not even close to being done cause I never have an end goal, just A Thought That I Want To Make Alive.

If you're better at just writing it all until you're done, then a long one shot would probably be best for you to do instead.

Now all that might be moot, you may be saying "well darn diddly fuck Sonny, I came to you to make the decision cause I'm fine with either and this didn't help!"

In that case, damn dude chapters is what I like to see XD I feel like the antici...................................pation is worth shorter reads.

Hello hello hello! Wow, this is late, I meant to write a lot more for this week, but I was just so busy that I didn’t have the time! Ugh, I hate that I missed the whole thing. But! I did write this one, and I finally finished it and edited it for posting! Yay me! I might go back and write some more later, but for now, I’m just going to let it be. There’ll be more of these guys either way, anywho. I’m not done with them.

As for the progress on my other works— My Naruto Fic has gotten around another ten thousand words and is still going! I’m thinking about adding another chapter or two besides the ones I was already planning on, but so far, things have been going well. Editing/revising will take a while. I do still think about two months should be enough time, but we’ll see and I’ll keep you guys updated! My BatJokes series has had less done so far, but since the outlining is done, I just need to put away some time to finally write it all down ahah
