this may be a big ask !! im trying to start a redacted d&d campaign with my friends (who know nothing about redacted) ! firstly, i recall a couple months ago seeing posts about someone doing a redacted d&d campaign, if you know them or know of them and if they’re willing to help plz lmk !!! secondly, i want to refresh myself on lore before going ham on this campaign. a playlist for inversion/closeknit relevant lore up to summer of 2023 would be so perfect ! again, sorry if this is too big of an ask !! just had to check ! thank u :)

As for the inversion/closeknit playlist, it will take me at least a few days to form one. I would also LOVE some help with this, because lore drops about both are scattered across videos. I don't want to miss anything important.

blake is brainwashed. i'm fully convinced. closeknit was a cult, after all.
blake feels he has no allegiance to closeknit and only uses them for his advantage, but i fully believe that he would handle all of the events of "the balance" better if he had not joined closeknit.
he canonically joined them out of desperation, he tells that to bestie, only keeping out the part it was desperation to fix the fact that bestie died in every future.
blake has prejudice. prejudice against d(a)emons, prejudice against magic, against people around him; this is shown by scorpius.
blake has less empathy than any person, he's a yandere.
he's clearly interested in the ideologies of closeknit, though. he uses the information closeknit has in order to come to the conclusion of the sovereigns, of how to reach them, everything he's done has been tied to closeknit and the actions of that cult. scorpius is the main example of this.
blake is brainwashed by a cult, no matter how much he may want to deny it and prove otherwise. it's a unique type of brainwashing that fuels his actions, obsession, and lack of identity.
This was a lot longer than I intended and I'm not sure it even makes sense, but I'd really like to know what other people are thinking because I think it's fascinating how everything is tying together
So after listening a few times, I think Vega makes several very interesting points. The first of which is how he takes apart Hush and his reasoning for why he's doing what he's doing. I thought it was interesting at first when he specifically called out 'Doc' for apparently having little to no issues the fact that Hush has killed several demons in front of them. Hush clocking Vega for getting angry when he doesn't hear what he wants was funny; however I think the reason vega was angry is because he was close to getting Hush to face a potential breakthrough and Hush diverted. Whether or not the diversion was intentional on Hushs part could be taken either way. I think that's why Vega said that Hush isn't as naive as he portrays. I think for the most part, as he said, Vega was primarily trying to open Doc's eyes so that they can open Hush's. The text on the thumbnail says "He can be repurposed." My personal thoughts are that Vega, Doc, and Warden, are all going to try and redirect Hush's initial plan. Since Hush is his purpose, if he has new initiatives will that change how he behaves? Or will he be conflicted with choosing what he wants(Doc wants), or will he be forced to make a decision that results in a lot worse things than anyone initially expected? What Vega said at the end of the audio was what really hit the nail on the head for me.
"E’Laetum and Min’Ara made him. They chose not to give him regret. Was that so he could do what was necessary? Or was it because they don’t hold any themselves? He was created with carte blanche to kill any demon that stood in his way, to take any action to save humanity, to directly give power to a cult that declares publicly their opposition to demonkind. I remember the Sovereignty. Their… complexity. So I hesitate to assume. But put to words, the appraisal of their opinion of us is a bit damning, don’t you think?" (Quoted directly from the transcript)
Why would E'Laetum and Min'Ara want to associate with close-knit at all? They are sovereigns yes, but for the most part, we know them to be much more merciful than the others. While we know for certain yes Hush was created by the two of them, via Avior and Starlight in the meridian, can we be 100% sure that they weren't being influenced by the other sovereigns in death? Also, don't E'Laetum and the sovereign that Blake got out have personal beef?? And since that sovereigns been the head of the drove(?) Would they not have known that D'deridahn would be the first sovereign to get out?? I'm not sure there would've been a choice of sovereign, and we also have absolutely no clue just how into close-knit Hush is. Was Hush there when Blake went into death and got possessed? Was he there when the department raided or was he just there post raid? Was Hush watching Blake with sunshine and helping bolster the connection to death?? Was it Hush that made the portal for brachium to get out of death? There's so much going on and I'm pretty sure that the only current timeline that doesn't tie into the Hush/blake/vega/avior story is the vampires 😭 even the wolf boys have mild connections via David and Sweetheart being involved in the close-knit case (even though I think because of brachium the case is closed for now) Going back to the new audio specifically, I think Vega made a lot of good points and I really hope that Doc sees that too and attempts to help redirect Hush onto that new purpose.
This audio left me with a lot of questions and a lot of answers, as the lore Erik puts out tends to do. Overall, I thought the audio was amazing and I'm very eager to see how everything ties together.
