currently working on a gwayne hightower / targ!f!reader fic where she is the rider of cannibal, and gwayne is hopelessly in love with her. currently as it stands the story takes place after rook's rest, and it is the typical 'you've returned from war and now we're going to ravage each other to make up for lost time' sort of fic. however I am between two different settings.
option (1): reader, after being driven to near madness, mounts cannibal and rides for the camp after seeing the state of aegon, hearing about the aftermath from aemond, and hearing of the death of rhaenys and meleys. she can't quite believe—nay, she won't believe—that gwayne is alive until she sets eyes on him herself;
or option (2): in the aftermath, the host returns to king's landing and they spend an afternoon in her chambers again, ravaging each other to make up for lost time.
either way, we get armor removal as a means of foreplay basically, likely some wound cleaning, some devoted yearning from gwayne and grateful-that-the-other-is-still-alive smut. let me know which you like the most below, because I will likely only write one.

i think if i had an oc in the hotd universe i think she would definitely be targaryen, know asshai’i as well as old valyrian (she’d be a fucking nerd just like me lol), hence why she is able to tame the cannibal (since there’s theories that he comes from a different line of dragons from asshai hence the cannibalistic tendencies) and she marries either gwayne or ormund. selfishly. love her. i want to be her. but i have literally no time nor the consistency for an oc based fanfic.
