why do people make flags and communities for other disorders and shit but then think paraphiles sjouldnt have flags or communities (yeah ik nondisordered paras exist too)

fighting against stigma, self-love and survival despite it all, overcoming people's expectations and becoming so much more than just a "ticking time bomb", finding nonabusive outlets for thoughts, finding comfort and solidarity in each other, and for young paraphiles just discovering themselves and the incredible strength they have to be able to do so, etc

it really boils down to surviving despite being in a world that really seems to want anything but

shit, isnt that the point of basically every other kind of pride symbol?
