If you were to drop the Infinity from Halo into any point of time and anywhere in the Star Wars universe, where and when would you do it and why?
Hmmmm…….
I say somewhere, around the midway point of the Clone Wars around the consistently contested planetary regions of Mygeeto and/or Felucia, since they detected a small M’dama Covenant (or Banished) fleet making a blind jump out of the Milky Way and to the Star Wars galaxy where they picked up what seems like a treasure trove of Forerunner artifacts they can certainly use for weapons in place of the UNSC occupied Halo Array
@mothnem
I've always found it interesting that from the outside, Halo seems like this cut and dry story about the "good guys" (the UNSC) and the "bad guys" (the Covenant...we will ignore the Flood cause the Flood is genuinely bad).
But the UNSC and ONI did absolutely kidnap children, and Halsey specifically knew (and hid the extent!!!!) that the augmentation program could and would either kill or severely disfigure many of them, plus, they were going to be used to suppress insurrectionists. The covenant wasn't even on their radar.
Not that all the insurrectionsts weren't ALSO bad, BUT, there was a definite difference in power influence, resources, etc.
Like...the UNSC would have been a super big evil authoritarian regime but some aliens showed up and were worse by comparison
So like, is the UNSC good because they defend humanity? Sure. Was their path on the way there terrible? Absolutely
From the fiction of conspiracy to the reality of the frontlines. One organization, infamously complex.
