anytime an open MAP on tumblr gets caught as a predator, people in the replies and reblogs start to say that we are all like this. that anyone saying they're anti-contact is lying. it just makes me feel like shit, tbh. this is why i don't tell anyone, and also why i stay away from most others like me on here. doesn't feel worth it at all, to me. and then that just feels lonely.

This is paramisia. Stereotyping an entire group as predatory simply because a member of said group was found to be a predator is stupid, ignorant, and just plain uneducated. It's the logic bigots always use to demonize entire groups (ie; "this one schizophrenic person was a murderer, so all schizophrenic people are violent and dangerous to be around.")
