Just had a 45 mins strength workouts for the first time since I delivered my baby. Actually I hadn't done such workouts in ages towards the end of my pregnancy 😅 It felt good!!!!!! 💪🏻 and my legs are destroyed!!! 😱 Of course I am starting out light, and I am omitting exercises which could affect the healing of my c-section wound, like ab workouts with weights. But I think it is ok to start lifting again, otherwise my back is going to kill me from sitting 6 hours a day to breastfeed my little one! I will start by doing such workouts three times a week, and I will replace metabolic trainings I used to do with inclined walk and light jogging. I don't think I can do HIIT exercises yet... In the first few months of your life as a mother there will be times when you think, I can’t do this! You are not alone. The first night we brought my son home from the hospital, after a four-day stay in the NICU, he cried. And cried. We swaddled him, but he still cried. We changed him, and he cried. I was terrified that he was ill. We fed him and sang to him and gave him the pacifier and the breast and the bottle and… he cried. Finally, I turned to my son’s father and said, “We can’t do this!” He looked at me and said, “We can’t return him.” We laughed, and the baby cried."
