The sun isn’t up yet, but I am. The lists of things to do today grows by the minute. Burning the candle at both ends does have a way of providing light in the early morning hours though. In the distance I can see the outline of the barn as the first light hits it, the silver roof bounces the moonlight and the coffee brews. Today the leaves will be richer and brighter and another day of autumn will be savored even if it’s from out the window rather than immersed in it.
