Posting that I'm having a flareup and having friends who I'd lost touch with reach out to check in on me! People who I hadn't spoken to in over a year wanted to make sure I was okay and taking care of myself. It made me feel really loved.

Listening to the song "Bottle Rocket Astronaut" and crying from joy. It's about a disabled bird building himself a bottle rocket to fly. It reminds me of the joy I felt when I first put on my ankle braces and walking was suddenly so much easier.
Got abducted from the bar to a strangers home last night
getting into a series that I would normally not be interested in for the disability rep, and then having it become one of my favorite series.
Writing personal essays about disability. It's fun and cathartic to write out my feelings and experiences.

I have two different anxiety disorders as well as monophobia (fear of being alone), and today I was home alone (scary), and there was a power outage (scary), and I didn't have a panic attack!! (progress!)
I'm really proud of myself, since before I would have had a panic attack under those circumstances.
Congratulations, Anon! /gen
I'm 17 and a large portion of my search history is "how to clean room?", "how to make bed?", "how to do washing up?" and other "simple" things like that because I don't understand how to do them.
Some of them I think I could understand with help. Like judging by what Google says, I think I could tidy my room to a reasonable degree if I ever got time (aka put stuff in bins, put clothing in baskets and put stuff in boxes) and I think if my mum helped me out, I could potentially make a bed. But I don't think I'll ever be able to do washing up without getting water and washing up liquid everywhere (objectively dangerous...)
And when I ask for help from my mum, I just get told "come on, you're smart" as if my excellent ability to do maths translates to things like this.
But I have got one win though, I learnt how to brush my hair recently. I can only do it with two specific brushes and can't do any styling or anything (not even plaits...) but hey, it's something :D
Congratulations on the win! /genuine
