Operate on emotional survival mode 99.99% of the time

Have iconic gravity defying hair silhouettes

Bottle shit up constantly (#angst but they'd cry it out together trust me bro)

Suck at taking care of themselves. But it cancels out because they're better at taking care of each other instead

Would lean on each other 😼 (literally and figuratively cuz height diff)

would share a shitty single mattress bed and sleep plastered together

Would kiss over an ale and feel warm and fuzzy the day after (secret morale boost hack)

Hobie:

would fangirl over Cloud's Fusion Sword (it is so fucking cool oh my god he would freak out over the inner workings and engineering of that goddamn thing)

Would make Cloud a web shooter and have an awesome time cackling his ass off as the other man learns how to use it

Would get along wonderfully with Barret holy shit. He would approve of their union so fast

Would help around Edge in general

Would've joined AVALANCHE in a heartbeat

Cloud:

Would show off his Materia spellcasting skills to impress Hobie

Would take Hobie Choco-back riding

Would def treat Hobie like a resting wall and rest his head on his chest... ugh *cryîngs in the club*

Would ask about all the decorations on Hobie's guitar and listen to him play forever if he could
