A bit over a week ago, I was scrolling on here and saw some fanart by @calladraws101 of the "What's so bad about being with me?" scene from Obsession with Alastor as Nikki and Vox as Bear. Inspiration punched me in the face, and I just posted it to AO3 the other day.

I had such a good time writing this and would like to thank such a talented artist for inspiring me.

Summary:

Vincent gets his hand on a One Wish Willow. He didn’t think it would work, but he was careful when he wished for Alastor to love him. Alastor suffers for it.

Chapter 5: Gluttony

When Vincent's alarm goes off on Saturday, he's already awake. His hand shoots out to quiet it (let Alastor sleep) and he puts on his glasses, sitting up and turning on the soft lamp on the bedside table. Shockwave, settled in his bed by the couch, picks up his head, ears pricking. 

"Stay, buddy." Vincent says softly, getting up, then kneeling the pet him. "Stay right here, ok? That's my good boy." He glances to Alastor, curled up on the far side of the bed, and for a moment wants to crawl back in with him and pull him close, but that will be for later. Now he has to shower, get some food in his stomach (and Shockwave's), and get the dog out for a walk, so he grabs what he needs and heads into the bathroom, taking a breath as he looks in the mirror and gives his best smile. "Good Day, USA, and Happy Fourth!" He whispers. "I'm Vincent Whittman, and it's my pleasure to spend the morning with you."

He makes the shower as hot as he can stand, scrubbing the sleep from his eyes, and reveling in the feeling of the energy that seems to zip through him; maybe a little nerves, but mostly anticipation. 

You made this happen. It's yours. It's the next step. Just take it.
