polyplex high headcount culture is:
"im pretty sure we have a whole group of vocaloid fictives somewhere. like, i straight up think a couple of them have fronted before and we've just mistaken it for being blurry"
"anyway im just gonna keep ignoring that"

We did maths and shit to figure out a polyplex population estimate actually based in smth. And we went from the baseless 3000 to the mathematical estimate of 34,335,001,001.
our divinity is definitely connected to our plurality. “old soul” and all that - you don’t exist in the aether as long as we have without becoming varied inside. we’ve lived so many lives. each has stuck with us in some ways. we’ve absorbed some small part of everything we’ve come across in our long, long time of existence. and eventually it just… becomes. I could never be just one. I am many. I am everything, everywhere, every time, all at once. a corkboard of red strings connecting my heart to every possible existence out there. also why we’re polyplural. you think I could be just 2? 3? no no no. I am all of it.
anyway do you get why we love the concept of infinity now

We may have finally uncovered our origins. In light of this discovery, we have made some flags for the terms we now id with.
Flags used: paragenic flag with cloud emblem, Selenelion Aberration's adaptive flag, Grey Skies's simplified traumagenic flag, absgenic flag, The Platforms's polyplex flag, kenochoric's plurplex icon (used as inspo)
(Yes, we're aware that paragenic is considered an adaptive origin...but simply calling our collective paragenic feels incomplete. We don't want to hide our adaptive origin behind technicalities and semantics.)
Endogenic and other variants will be a soon-later post. (The next couple of weeks will be very busy for us, but this will happen. prommy)
Paradaptive / Paratraumagenic / Parabsgenic
[alt text (left): a rectangular flag with 6 equal horizontal stripes: light cyan-blue, light cyan, white, light pink-red, mid-light magenta, black; there is a gray-purple cloud in the center of the flag end alt text]
[alt text (middle): a rectangular flag with 6 equal horizontal stripes: very light purple, very light cyan, very light yellow, light pink, dark blue; there is a gray-purple cloud in the center of the flag end alt text]
[alt text (right): a rectangular flag with 6 equal horizontal stripes: green-cyan, mid-light green, light pink, mid-light purple, black; there is a gray-purple cloud in the center of the flag end alt text]
Paradaptive: being or identifying (equally as) both paragenic and adaptive; a paragenic origin influenced by further adapting to one’s environment; an adaptive origin influenced by immersive daydreaming, MDD, neuronarrating, or something similar
Paratraumagenic: being or identifying (equally as) both paragenic and traumagenic; a paragenic origin influenced by trauma; a traumagenic origin influenced by immersive daydreaming, MDD, neuronarrating, or something similar
Parabsgenic; being or identifying (equally as) both paragenic and absgenic; being paragenic in an absgenic way (e.g. a paragenic origin that falls between traumagenic and endogenic, but traumaendo doesn’t fully fit)
Absadaptive / Abstraumagenic
[alt text (left): a rectangular flag with 7 equal horizontal stripes: mid-light pink, mid-light pink-red, light red, white, light green, mid-light cyan-green, cyan end alt text]
[alt text (right): a rectangular flag with 7 equal horizontal stripes: yellow-brown, mid-light yellow-green, light green, white, light green-cyan, mid-light cyan, mid-light blurple end alt text]
Absadaptive: being or identifying (equally as) both adaptive and absgenic; being adaptive in an absgenic way (e.g. an adaptive origin that falls between traumagenic and endogenic, but traumaendo doesn’t fully fit)
Abstraumagenic: being or identifying (equally as) both traumagenic and absgenic; a traumagenic origin that falls between traumagenic and endogenic, but traumaendo doesn’t (fully) fit; being technically traumaendo, but not (fully) identifying as endogenic; being traumagenic in an absgenic way in any other form
Paraplex / Narraplex / Polyplex (alt flag)
[alt text (left): a rectangular flag with 7 horizontal stripes: black, very light purple, very light blue, gray-purple, light pink, mid-light purple, black; in the center, there is a white circle connected to six equally-spaced circles; the entire symbol has a black outline end alt text]
[alt text (middle): a rectangular flag with 7 horizontal stripes: mid-dark brown, light pastel orange, white, light pastel orange, white, light pastel orange, mid-light brown n the center, there is a white circle connected to six equally-spaced circles; the entire symbol has a black outline end alt text]
[alt text (right): a rectangular flag with 7 horizontal stripes: purple-black, mid-dark cyan-blue, mid-light cyan-blue, very light cyan-blue, mid-light cyan-blue, mid-dark cyan-blue, purple-black n the center, there is a white circle connected to six equally-spaced circles; the entire symbol has a black outline end alt text]
Paraplex (from Pluralpedia): “A paraplexic system, also paraplex or paraplexia, is one that has a main headspace along with separated paracosms that contain conscious beings.”
Narraplex (from Pluralpedia): “Narraplex is a type of system headspace that has a complicated inner narrative.”
Polyplex (from Pluralpedia): “A polyplex is a system that is made up of multiple sidesystems (and sometimes, subsystems) to create the collective.”
(The -plex symbol here is meant to look like the plurplex symbol, since they share a suffix. The lines between the dots represent connection. The snowflake resemblance (albeit accidental) represents uniqueness and complexity.)

Mindfront: A term for plurals, derivative of "mindform", denoting a system member's status as "in front" within the mind/their mental form, but not necessarily externally, bodily fronting. Many subsystems share a mental form or other inherent connection, and switch between whom is most aware in that subsystem without any effect on bodily front. This is intended for these members and any others that could utilize the concept of "fronting within the mind/headspace".
ex. A system consists of Host A and Subsystem B, with two members. Host A is in front, and Subsystem B is in headspace, with Subsystem member B1 doing things out of bodily front. B1 is mindfronting in their mental form. B1 encounters something their subsystem member enjoys within headspace, so member B2 switches to mindfront and continues headspace activities. Host A may or may not be aware of this; mindfronting generally has no inherent connection with bodily front.
{This post is for ALL plurals! Term was coined with subsystems in mind but free to use for any that need it}
