We've decided to make a separate blog for the terms and flags we've coined. This way, they won't get buried under reblogs.
This is for fun! We mostly make things for ourselves, but we'll occasionally take requests.
We use Procreate to make our flags. We use https://imagecolorfinder.com/ (to easily get hex codes) and https://encycolorpedia.com/890718 to help us with naming colors for alt text.
What We'll Coin:
genders (including xenogenders)
aspec terms/flags
orientations (including mspec mono terms)
plural/system terms/flags
alterhuman terms/flags (including kintypes, hearttypes, etc.)
terms/flags for disorders we have (social anxiety, depression, and autism)
What We Won't Coin:
anything transID (not including transspecies, which is an alterhuman term)
paraphilia terms/flags
NSFW terms (we are bodily 18+, but this blog is strictly SFW)
terms/flags exclusive to BIPOC (we are bodily white)
terms/flags exclusive to intersex people (we are bodily perisex)
terms/flags for disorders we don't have
terms/flags for cultures none of us are a part of
anything else we say we're uncomfortable with

Other Request Notes:
Term requests: include the definition and name(s) of the term—if you don't have a term name yet, we'll help come up with one with or for you
Flag requests: provide the name, definition, and coiner(s) of the term—optionally, include what colors you'd like in the flag
If you send us a request, there is no guarantee that we'll accept it.
If we do accept your request, there's no guarantee that we'll complete it quickly. We have depression and lives outside of Tumblr. Please be patient with us.
Terms/Flags Usage:
Anyone may use our terms and flags in good faith.
Do not recoin our terms.
Making (alternate) flags for our terms is ok! Tag us if you make one (if you want to—it's not required)
Usage in a private term collection/hoard does not require credit.
Uploading our terms/flags to wikis requires credit.
Reposting our terms and flags anywhere requires credit.
You can credit us as "The A Collective", @the-a-collective (if we've coined something there), or @selves-indulgent-coining (if we've coined something here).
Other notes:
We struggle with abstract concepts, social cues/constructs, and tone. As a result, our flag and color meanings are very literal.
Please use tone tags!
Image IDs are difficult for us to make. It's very difficult for us to tell what's relevant/important and what's not, so we include everything. We genuinely apologize for any inconvenience.
We will not respond to hate-asks.
