Can we please go back to alter not being the default term for members of a system or for all plural experiences in general? It's a very medicalized term and it alienates a lot of plural experiences that are not psychological or medical

a Zenithfragment is a fragment that has basic characteristics of being a alter, but also has the basic roles and characteristics of being a fragment. This could also be used for headmates who don’t want to identify as an alter, but also don’t want to identify as a facet.

a role
a Age, gender or distinct identity
they might be a introject or fictive or factive, etc
but they also might:
Have low awareness/periods of low awareness or sentience
Be meant for a specific task
only hold a specific emotion or feeling
only hold a specific memory or type of memories
have limited emotional ranges
go dormant for long amounts of time until they’re needed

What separates this from other created plurality types, is the fact you had no other control over the headmates/systems creation other then the role or attribute wished for.

An example from our system in how this works would be Eddie. Me and Luna made a passing wish one day for a protector. Instantly Eddie appeared. We had no control over name, gender, appearance, personality, beliefs, ect. The only input we added was that we wished for a protector.
