ooh, this is a fun question!! i'm not sure if there are any i'm willing to die on a hill for (at least none that are inconsequential, i'm pretty open to all variations of buddie!) but one that i firmly believe is that eddie isn't big on using pet names.

he loves when buck calls him baby, or babe, or honey, or sweetie pie, or cupcake. literally anything buck calls him puts little hearts in eddie's eyes. but he's not suuper big on using them in return. he'll come out with his own 'baby' or 'sweetheart' sometimes, but it's not an everyday thing. mostly because it's so ingrained in him to call buck buck and that in itself is a term of endearment, when it comes from eddie.

however!!! he does love to compliment buck on his looks. he's always, like, known buck is an attractive guy. that's just an objective fact. but he's never really allowed himself to look or acknowledge before, so when they get together and he's not only allowed to look, but looking is encouraged!!

1. illuminating all (in time) for Heated Rivalry and my only published fic to date. it’s just 2k of Shane staring at Ilya and being like woah…pretty…

These are the numbers he engraves on his heart:

Ilya has eighty moles on his back with seven lingering around the side of his hip in the shape of a shark’s tooth.

He has a single freckle hidden behind his ear that’s in the perfect place for Shane’s thumb to brush against when he cups Ilya’s head to pull him in for a kiss.

The hair on Ilya’s chest and stomach hides more targets for Shane to kiss and suck at, hinted at around the shape of his untamed happy trail—well, those are uncounted for now.

I’m working on more but I am a forever futzer and fiddler.

My favorite one to work on at the moment is paper calendar, which is kinda of a meandering Buck & 118 kids fic that I’m trying to pin down. Right now I’m rewriting May’s intro chapter. Again. And the prologue. Again.

I like to randomly post unconnected snippets of leaf peepers whenever the mood strikes. It’s my self indulgent tourist town au. Basically what if the 118 was based in the pinky of Michigan and buddie happened :)

Ummmm I have big ambitions for maiden name, my Young Wizards/911 fusion where Chris discovers his family is a lot more magical than is probably reasonable for a kid trying to be mad at everything and also what’s upppp with Shannon’s maiden name what is it.

Idk, as a patrilineal Jew, just being offered to do shit that non-Jews can do too still makes me feel very much left the fuck out. How about you just respect my identity and the culture I was raised with? I think that's a better solution tbh

Honestly, this whole thing made me feel kinda shitty. And very not Jewish. I'm sorry some people have a hard time with this, but I'm Jewish. Without needing a conversion process (no matter what name that goes by that's still what it is). Judaism is built on questioning. Maybe we just need to question our ideas of what being Jewish means, and stop following that law. We have let a lot of things go in the past because they're outdated. Why can't we let that one go as well

That “things to do when you don’t consider someone Jewish” part is pretty fuckin condescending like if anyone tries to offer me the “honors” I’m “allowed” to do because I’m “not Jewish enough” even though when I was ten i was fluent in Hebrew and have been raised Jewish since before I was born and spent the first ten years of my life studying MY religion in MY community, not a community some “better” Jew allowed me into, they’re not being nice. They’re a piece of shit and I’m Jewish.
