Like: you have basic waterbending stuff which includes changing water into ice and controlling steam (I wonder if a waterbender could change water into steam just like they turn water into ice?); then you have healing which lets you bounce back from almost any injury (like how Katara instantly healed her 3rd degree burned hands by dipping them into a river for a few seconds); then you have plantbending which is definitely more powerful then it appears (like controlling poisonous plants, or just taking the poison out of the plants and using it for waterbending XD); then you have overpowerd blood bending which can apparently remove people's bending and can be activated psychicly (our hypothetical waterbending master can wipe out entire armies by thinking); and last but not least, we have Spiritbending!!! Waterbenders can bend spirits to their will!!!

To be a max power waterbender is to control all things that have a soul!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AN: this happens after zuko gets “rejected” by the gaang, because they don’t trust him. When zuko burns tophs feet and reader (who went with him) helps her by healing her feet and revealing a different bending ability (that they didn’t know water benders could do).

ALSO I HAVENT WATCHED THIS EPISODE IN A WHILE SO WHAT THE CHARACTERS ARE SAYING ARENT EXACT IM SORRY

You were sitting inside your tent, waiting for Zuko to come back. He ran outside when he thought heard an animal or something.

Suddenly, you hear “OW WHAT DID YOU DO THAT FOR?” You ran outside to see a girl, who looked like an earthbender, clutching her burnt feet while yelling at Zuko.

“I’m sorry! Please come back! Please” yelled Zuko.

“Wait” you yelled “I can help you” she stopped moving away, but ended up falling onto the ground, while still clutching her feet. “Zuko, get the water and the herbs from my tent” Zuko ran off to get what you needed. You went to pick her up, to carry her closer to the light, when she yelled.

“Don’t get closer to me!” She yelled. She through a boulder at you, but you dodged it.

“Please,” you begged “I can heal you, and stop the burning. Please just trust me”

“Alright alright, but I can get by the fire myself” she tried to stand up again but ending falling down while still yelling and clutching her feet. You picked her up and placed her by the fire. By then, Zuko came out with a bucket, the water, and the herbs. You put the water and the herbs into the bucket, then placed the girl’s feet into the water. “Ahhhhh, that’s better” she exclaimed. By that point, Zuko came out to apologize again.

“Toph, I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to burn your feet, I-“

“Listen Zuko it’s fine. I just don’t know if I’ll be able to use my feet again. What if-“

“Don’t say that!” You said, startling Zuko and the girl. “Im going to heal you, at least by the morning. Zuko, could you get a Hawthorn seed from my tent? It should be in a red pouch?” He nodded and went into your tent. You used your water bending to help heal her feet. She whined in pain a bit. “It’ll be ok. Just talk through the pain. What’s your name? How did you end up working with the avatar?”

“Toph, you can waterbend?”

“Barely. Its more of my healing ability that I’m proud of.” By that time, Zuko came out and handed you the red pouch before sitting next to you. “Thank you” You took one seed from the pouch and put it into the ground. You used your bending ability to turn the seed into a sprout, then into a flower. You picked the flower, then removed the flower head and placed it into the bucket with toph’s feet. After putting the stem into the bag. Toph spoke again.

“So how do you know him?” She asked. Toph seemed a lot more relaxed now that her feet were healing a lot.

“Zuko? I met him when I healed his uncle from a lightning attack from his sister. Then again at an earthbending village. He asked me if I could go with him, and here I am.”

“Has he ever, done this to you?” Toph asked.

“Well he-“

“Yes” Zuko stated, throwing a rock aggressively onto the ground. “I have burnt her before.”

“Well it wasn’t on purpose! We were fighting these people, and he threw fire at someone I was fighting, when I accidentally got in the way of the crossfire. My arm is still scared, but since then, I got a lot better at healing burns since then. That’s why I know that this is going to work.” By then, Zuko already went into his tent. “And I’m sorry for him, he didn’t mean to attack you. Lately he’s just been scared.” She nodded at you. “Well, I would stay here for the night, then before the sun rises tomorrow, I’ll escort you back to your camp site before anyone worries about you. I’ll make sure to give you some herbs in case your feet start to hurt again.”

“Thank you.” She said. You nodded before turning away. “I’ll try to talk to Aang about having Zuko as his firebending teacher” before she could say anything else, you hugged her.

“Thank you. Thank you so much Toph.”

“Yeah yeah I get it. I’ll see you in the morning.” After that, you go to Zukos tent.

“Yeah?” He said, coming out of the tent. Before he can say anything else, you hug him.

“You have a chance. You can do this.”

This week we’ll take a closer look at the upcoming Plantbending form for waterbenders. The form will be released with the update of the Core Rulebook from 1.1 to 1.2 (released date TBD).

In The Last Airbender, the Avatar and his friends encountered waterbenders who had settled in, and adapted their techniques to, living in a swamp. The waterbenders there were able to connect with the water in plant life, even manipulate the water to move the plants around.

Other waterbenders, like Hama, learned to harness the water within plants by drawing it out entirely. Huu from the Foggy Swamp displays incredible mastery of the the technique in his memorable form.

So today we’re focusing on this aspect of Plantbending. Plant Armor represents mastery over the technique involved in not only detecting and controlling the water in all of the plant matter, but also manipulating it and maintaining its form.

Plant Armor starts out as a pretty nice defensive boost; you get +1 range and melee defense, in addition to 3 points of soak which diminish by 1 point for every successful hit the waterbender suffers, and at the end of each turn. The armor bonus is lost when soak reaches 0. When its first unlocked, it provides a nice temporary boost to defense, provided there’s enough water and plant matter around.

The technique becomes a real powerhouse when you unlock its Strength upgrade. This ability allows you to grow your armor to increased sizes (tied to your ranks in Bending Arts skill), in addition to increasing the damage done by other plantbending techniques.

Since I've posted my Waterbender OCs background I'll post some of the many reasons why I love the Water tribes.

The people of the Water nation are divided into three tribes: Northern Water Tribe, Southern Water Tribe, and the Foggy Swamp Tribe. 

In the beginning of the of the four great nations there was only one Water tribe until a group of Warriors, benders and healers separated and made their journey towards the South Pole. In the advent of the Southern Water tribe another group split from them and settled in the Foggy Swamp in the Earth Kingdom, eventually forgetting all Water Tribe customs. 

The Northern Water tribe is started healing. The Foggy Swamp is responsible for Plantbending.

And a Southern Water Tribe master is the proponent of the dark Bloodbending. Waterbending, for me, is the most versatile bending style; for water or any other liquid substances could be drawn out from a myriad of places. Most known weaknesses of Waterbending has been eliminated by Waterbending masters or very skilled benders through the course of the two series. Hama has invented Bloodbending when she was put in isolation of her main element while she was incarcerated, realizing that where there is life there is water.

Ming Hua and Yakone has proven that limbs are not really essential in using one's bending capabilities. Ming Hua's upper limbs are mysteriously missing and Yakone has developed psychic Bloodbending which he passed on to his sons.

Its possibilities are limitless and each sub-style can be taken much further. Because of this, I will be including my favorite Waterbending GIFs that I've seen from around the internet.

DAY 6. Favorite Element Nation

Oh Gosh Favorite Element Nation? Does this include the element itself because my favorite nation and my favorite element art different. I guess I'll do both! Because I can!

My Favorite Nation: The Earth Kingdom

I absolutely love the Earth Kingdom, Nation, Cities. Since it's very vast, I really don't what to call it to be honest. The infrastructure, government and customs are directly influenced by their distinctive Bending Element. Iroh said "The people of the Earth Kingdom are diverse and strong. They are persistent and enduring." I think that's a very good thing. It was what kept them impenetrable for so long (mainly speaking of the city of Ba Sing Se, of course). I think i would feel most comfortable in any Earth Kingdom Territory because their way of life (compared to the other nations) reminds me a lot of the United States in the sense that is is a Developed Nation with diverse people.

My Favorite Element: Water

To answer this one I will include information we learned in Avatar: The Legend of Korra.

My favorite Element is Water. I believe Waterbending is unquestionably the most superior element of all. Why? (Yes, I always have a reason). First of all lets start with how peaceful it is. Its movements were based on the martial art of T'ai chi . The practice of Tai Chi isn't exactly violent, or abrupt, or as quick as other martial arts (is that the plural for that?) It is calm and relaxed and mostly used for defense training (according to wiki. im not MA expert ok.) And that is the general use of waterbending. Defense.

Iroh said  "Water is the element of change. The people of the Water Tribes are capable of adapting to many things. They have a sense of community and love that holds them together through anything."

This is uplifting and frightening.

Water is every where. In there air, in plants (plantbending).  The Earth is 2/3 water, and based on the map, its the same in the avatar world. Water and its benders and the people who represent this element (the water tribes) are everywhere, in clusters holding together as one.

They have the ability to heal which is a blessing, the ability to take water from anything, like when Katara bent her own sweat.

Their ability to change is what has made this element so strong. So unbeatable. In what sense? 

What other styles of bending are there for-

Firebending: Lightening bending

Earthbending: Metalbending, sandbending

Airbending: - none

Waterbending: Healing, Plantbending, Bloodbending.

let me repeat the latter

BLOODBENDING

They can control some one against their will, like a marionette. They can, and have, kill some one without them even knowing what hit them. They can take someone's bending away with that. The only other person to restore is the Avatar. And the only other person who could do that before was the Avatar.

Remember when Yakone fought Aang. Think of it this way. Aang only lived because he went into the avatar state. A bloodbender is physically stronger than all the elements.

Waterbending can be fun, playful, peaceful, defensive, offensive and deadly. Never, ever underestimate the power of waterbending.
