Im sorry I don't know what the hell this is especially since the 4th of July has passed but this was the first thing that came to mind for some weird reason.🤣
Alexia stopped at the bedroom door staring at the sheer red, white and blue monstrosity you had just pulled out of a shopping bag.
"What is that?" she asked, her voice flat.
"It's a stars and stripes lingerie set," you grinned, holding the star spangled bra against your chest. "For the Fourth of July tonight. You know, to celebrate my independence."
Alexia stared in disbelief. " You cannot be serious. It looks like a cheap novelty flag. You expect me to undress a symbol of American imperialism?"
"I expect you to salute it first," you shot back cheerfully.
She turned around, closing the bedroom door. "I am sleeping on the sofa. Viva España."
