I wonder why I have this kind of attraction to geriatric men, a concept known as gerontophilia. What made me into a person like this?

Why is it that I see beauty in white-haired or bald men in their 70s and older—with wrinkled around the eyes, a big belly, a large rear, and a moderately hairy chest with a saggy texture (meaning no longer firm or young-looking)?

I remember that from a young age, I felt attracted to mature men. They were often figures I saw on TV, and I dreamed of spending time with them, though not in a sexual way. I only became fully aware of my attraction to older men when I started masturbating and imagined, for example, a naked Sean Connery.

Most women and gay men alike cannot understand this kind of attraction and would rather feel disgusted by it.

I personally believe the main reason is that I grew up without a father or any male figure raising me. The only exception was my maternal grandfather, but he was overshadowed by my dominant grandmother, who raised me. Later, after her passing, I was raised by a mother who was trashy by all standards.
