Ingredients: 1 block extra-firm tofu, pressed and cubed. 1/2 cup cornstarch. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon onion powder. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons maple syrup. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 2 tablespoons sesame seeds.
Instructions: Get the oven ready by heating it up to 400F 200C. Put cornstarch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl and mix them together. Mix soy sauce, maple syrup, and sesame oil in a different bowl using a whisk. First, dip the tofu cubes in the wet mixture. Then, cover them with the cornstarch mixture. Spread out the tofu cubes on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper. Put sesame seeds on top of the cubes of tofu. If you want the tofu to get golden and crispy, bake it for 25 to 30 minutes and flip it over halfway through. Serve hot with the sauce of your choice.
