I can barely believe it, but after 13 years, Pip's time has come. I have an appointment at a really great vet tomorrow, so I know that it's all going to be as peaceful as can be. But while I've been on-and-off sobbing for the last few days knowing that the appointment is fast approaching, the one thought I keep having is that I'm going to have to be SO brave for her at the appointment because she haaaaates when people cry around her lol, and I don't want her final moments to just be me being completely inconsolable. Which is such a silly thing to be worried about, but I just can't stop thinking about it. Pet grief really is completely unlike anything else on the earth. Words cannot begin to describe the impact of her life on mine. We're going to have a steak dinner together tonight. I love her more than anything and I will miss her more than anything. I will always love my sweet little puppy

#up until a couple of years ago it really did seem like she would live forever #and the last couple years have been more difficult for her but she's still largely been the happiest dog in the world #but these past couple weeks she is a shell of herself #her breathing has been so labored and she's been in such discomfort all the time #this is for the best. it needs to happen. but I can hardly face it #I suddenly feel like these 13 years have been the blink of an eye #it really wasn't that long ago that she was a puppy peeing on everyone's feet because she was too excited to hold it #but it's been so many years since then. it's been years since she tore a chew toy into pieces within an hour of me buying it #but no time at all has passed since I held her and loved her #she still loves it when I blow air in her face. she still comes over at the sound of the whipped cream can #she still comes and sits against my leg so that we can be together even when i'm working #she doesn't bark or howl or run like she used to. but she still loves exactly as fully as she always has #her heart is still very literally too big for her chest #I'm still grateful for every single second we've shared with each other. even the ones where she was making trouble #even the ones where she was peeing on guests when they came in and I so embarassedly apologized for her #ESPECIALLY the ones where she was barking at birds because she loved to (try and fail to) scare them off #especially the ones where she stared up at me at the table hoping that i had food to give her even when I didn't #and most especially the ones where she curled up against me as though there was no happier place in the world to be than there.#she has been a happy happy dog. she has loved me as much as I've loved her #every angry or scared moment I've had throughout her life has been worth it. even this one. this one which will never be entirely over #I love you pip. forever and ever. you are ALWAYS my little doggie. even if we have to be apart. you are my little doggie #and I would not trade that for anything.#pip!#animal death

Ok long ass Dialogue so here the two of them Allo and Pip now split up. Allo values have no place for the crystal or as an expandable and Pip will go on to the retrieve mission. They have chosen a path for their own journey on that bridge.

Meanwhile Sebastian was logging with unconscious Pip looking around for Allo. He can hear an echo of Allo lullaby's coming from the garden isle. [So how he's gonna explain to Allo what happened to Pip?]

Out of nowhere the Angler appeared still in mid air looking at Sebby in an awkward silence.

[Sebastian glared at the angler, shooing it away with a quick, sharp, snarl. He turned to the door to the gardens, inhaling deeply through his cigarette, waiting a few moments before breathing out. Pip was getting to be very uncomfortable, it didn't matter that there was cloth between them, he needed Pip out of the makeshift sling. Hopefully Allo was in a good mood...]

"Hiiiii, bestie! I, uh, found a friend of yours, I think?"

[The words rung empty at Sebbi entered the garden, awkwardly grinning and gesturing at Pip. His knife was still buried in the leviathans claw.]
