Ah so you’ve now seen Lahabrea’s beautiful wife.
im conflicted, cause on the one hand shes a female meglomaniacal mastermind whos in it for the love of the game. on top of that she serves an effective role in the personal story of eric and his growth in realizing the complexity of the adults around him, as well as the wider story in relation to the ancients society and its inability to cope with its own godlike powers. she is both a culmination of its values and a rejection of its ethics, seeking perfection of the star through the achievement of godhood but doing so for utterly personal motivations and by manipulating the hidden desires of the people around her in a society that values conformity and anonymity over individuality.
on the other hand... i feel like shes underutilized in the storyline she appears in? its an arguable necessity for the narrative the story wants to tell in relation to lahabrea and eric, and the twists therein. i just feel like she deserved to have more of a physical presence to flaunt her evil with then she got ya know?
ultimately though i do like pandaemonium mind, it succeeds in making me like lahabrea in the same manner i like emet-selch and elidibus. one of the most deranged and barely functioning shadow wizard money gangs you've ever seen with the unsudered really. and i especially enjoy the retroactive implications that lahabrea decided the best way to cope with the shit show his life became post final days was to start imitating his evil wife word for word. absolute clown behaviour truly befitting the blorbos that are the unsundered.
"Unsundered" I haven't drawn in so long. I still got it, though! But here's my FFXIV monk as a Kirin pony and his unsundered Amaurotine. My monk's name is Ohayō Hono. At least that's what his friends and family call him. His adventurer name, and the name that everyone else knows him by, is Fritto Baggins. He chose the silly name because he didn't think that it would be that serious. It was! XD I haven’t figured out his Amaurotine’s name yet.
I forgot to post about it but my warrior of darkness patches came home! Now you can own a complete set 🥹
