Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1/4 cup powdered sugar. 2 large eggs. 3/4 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice. 2 teaspoons lemon zest. 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves. 1/4 teaspoon baking powder. Pinch of salt. Powdered sugar, for dusting.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 175F 350C. A 9x9-inch baking pan should be greased. Crumble the butter, flour, and powdered sugar together in a bowl. Make sure to press it into the bottom of the pan. Set the oven to 150F. Crack the eggs into a different bowl and mix them with the sugar, lemon juice, lemon zest, thyme leaves, baking powder, and salt. Put the lemon mix on top of the crust that has been baked. Put it back in the oven and bake for another 20 to 25 minutes, or until it's set and has a light golden color. Place the pan on a wire rack and let it cool all the way down. Cover with powdered sugar and cut into bars after it has cooled. Serve and have fun!
