Comic Book Saturday
A little bit horror a bit science fiction, a lot of awesome art.
It’s about Captain Joshua Rigg as well as his crew. He’s the Captain of the Charon, which is a ship that has a god-engine, and exorcists on board. Because, as they sail through space, well, there are demons and so many other horrors in the darkness of space.
I’m sorta surprised that there aren’t more of these Fantasy/Horror/Sci Fi sorts of books. I mean, space is dark, very dark. And, putting things that go bump in the night (or possess you in the night, day, and in between) in that dark seems like a ‘duh’ sort of idea.
In this book, the characters were delightfully complicated, as I said above I liked the art, and the plot (and where the story could go going forward) was interesting too. There are also two more collections for this title, which is cool (and one of them is a crossover for the author’s other series, Chew, which is cool).
