Diablo - Then There Were Five -logo-
"Then There Were Five" is a 18-page-long (+ a cover) fancomic that dives into the distant past of the Diablo universe, narrated by Archangel Malthael. When the High Heavens were still young and the Eternal Conflict had yet to truly take place, there had been four Archangels - Malthael as Wisdom, Auriel as Hope, Tyrael as Justice and the youngest, Imperius as Valor. All was in balance, and all was good. That is, until the Crystal Arch itself disrupts it all, by unexpectedly giving birth to a fifth.
Almost two years in the making, this fancomic will be the longest one I have ever done, and it will be a fine trial run before my own bigger projects. This story will focus on the Angiris Council within the Diablo lore, and while it does connect back to certain things mentioned in chapter 51 of my fanfiction, reading that story is NOT required to enjoy the comic! All you really need to know are two things:
The Angiris Council is a thing and there are five archangels.
The angels are born from the Crystal Arch and each of them belongs to one of the five virtues the Archangels represent
If you got these infos, you are good to go! The title itself is based on the definitely-not-creepy-at-all nursery rhyme "Ten little soldiers".
The actual comic is still some ways off, unfortunately. I have had the script ready for ages, and I have just started putting together the character ref sheets for it, which will be shared, of course. :) I hope I can finish it in a timely next to all my other plans, wish me luck!
