THE Tories are pushing ahead with their “race to the bottom" plans after the Chancellor confirmed there will be no alignment EU regulations after Brexit.
In an interview with the Financial Times, Sajid Javid told manufacturing leaders the Treasury would not lend support to manufacturers that favour EU rules as the sector has had three years to prepare for Britain's transition.

More proof that Johnson wanted a no-deal scenario all along. As for having known since 2016 about leaving, well no nobody knew until the December election results came through. Johnson repeatedly said there was no plan for leaving with no deal because ‘we’re going to get a great deal.’ A great deal would not sabotage the livelihoods of thousands which in turn will impact the lives of millions more, and that’s not including the casualties in the EU. I predict the UK will be taking rules from the US very soon.
