Well it’s national diabetes awareness month. And I’m starting my Diabetes 2k17 challenge. Day 1 prompt “Personal Introduction (age, hobbies, ice breakers, etc)” My name is Caleb. I’m 22 I️ live in Utah, USA. I️ Work full time and go to school full time (yay me). I️ love politics and music. I️ film score, and classic rock are my personal favorites. Hey diabetics!!
I'm working with the org T1international America to do a project I'm really excited about for diabetes awareness month
We're doing a month of sharing art made by diabetics about diabetes on all our social media platforms!! We want to showcase the artistic talents and expressions of diabetics as part of our advocacy efforts (in part to show us as human, and in part to make diabetes something so visible this month that people have a hard time ignoring it)
We're linking back to all the artists who submit, so DM me if you have anything - old or new pieces - you'd like showcased :) it can be visual art, photography, poetry, songs, short stories, anything!! I have a couple drawings and a performance poem that I'm sharing. The requirements are really just 1. Art 2. Made by a diabetic 3. Involving diabetes in any way
