i switched from the pump back to syringes yesterday and my endo didn't give me any instructions or anything. and i've been high since, but i'm like 400 now and i don't know why 😭

#i take my lantus twice a day which definitely didn't help yesterday #but why did i go SO high overnight #and now i just keep rising 😭 like does my body need to adjust to lantus again?#i was given no warning no instruction 😭#actuallydiabetic #mine #diabetes

had half a day today with no infusion site no CGM no ANYTHING and it felt so good that i might have to reevaluate some things. like it felt like the warm summer breeze and chirping birds outside were just for me

guys if i'm being so real. being diabetic IS having an eating disorder. like, there is no way of being diabetic that does not include disordered eating. and that's not even counting the diabetes-specific eating disorders that we have names for, like diabetic bulimia. like i feel like there should be a name for the relationship between the diabetic, the food that they eat, and the body they put it in. but right now we just call it "diabetes" and it's just a washed over part of the process of being alive with this shit
