Neurodivergent White Lotus HCs:
(as im projecting and dont know how someone without these work, they all have Sensory Processing Disorder, Autism, and probably ADHD.)
-Iroh has the least difficult time with sensory things, and very rarely has meltdowns/overloads, but he does, their bad (one in particular was at lu ten’s birth, everything was too overwhelming and lu ten’s newborn screaming was the last straw, he had a sensory overload in the hallway)
-Jeong Jeong goes selectively mute when hes stressed, and has the most difficulty with cloth/item textures. He has a chewing stim and usually chews on his hands or sleeves.
-Bumi also has a chewing stim, and keeps those edible crystals with him to chew on. he has the most difficulty with lights.
-Pakku really doesn’t like touch, and will only allow it when the person asks permission to touch him, or he intigates the touch first. this makes touch an important thing for him, particularly in relationships. He has most difficulty with food texture, especially vegetables, as he grew up mostly eating meats and sea food.
-Piandao has the most difficulty with noise, especially loud or sudden noises. He especially can’t handle people arguing with or raising their voice to/around him, but other generally loud noises also overwhelm him. However, this does not extent to battle, as he’s so used to the noise, he automatically blocks it out to focus purely on the fight.
-Pakku isn’t mute, but doesn’t tend to speak much on his own, he’s just a quiet guy when he’s not training someone or in a conversation
-Jeong Jeong is blind where his scar catches his eye, so if anyone comes up from that side, he’s defensive and jumpy.
-they all have happy stims, but most of them mask unless their alone.
-Pakku tends to rock on his heels without thinking, or strokes/rubs the fur on his water tribe clothes.
-Iroh hums a lot as a verbal stim.
-Bumi doesn’t mask and has a lot of energetic stims like hand flapping and bouncing, he also has a knuckle cracking stim.
-Jeong Jeong stims with his hair bc its very soft and thick, but he does tend to chew on whatever he’s holding, or his own hand.
-Piandao doesn’t notice his stims, but he fiddles and fidgets with objects a lot.
-Bumi once got all of them an animal plush each, and while jeong jeong and pakku think their too old for plushies, they definitely still keep it and put it in their room. (all of them cuddle their respective plush when their stressed/had a nightmare/etc)
-Iroh’s entire day can get completely thrown off if someone knocks over/breaks/ruins his tea or teapots/cups, he usually stays quiet or in his room when that happens, as hes aware of his temper
-Piandao loves to brush his hair, he doesnt know why, but he loves the rhymth and repeated motion of it.
-Pakku plays with his hair when hes nervous/anxious, or when hes focusing on something. he especially did it when he was younger.
-all of them are touch-starved, please someone hug them (ask pakku for permission first, though)
