People who act like Gangle doesn't have bipolar because they're only familiar with bipolar 1, and not the other subtypes are annoying
People will love Jax and Caine but then hate on actual narcissists
the whole tadc thing is just reminding me how much casual racism/sanism i have to ignore in order to comfortably consume anything
any popular space i enjoy is usually aggressively white centered and just defaults to ableist humor. and i ignore it cause it's so fucking frustrating finding a space that would view me, some random black schizophrenic, as a person who's existence isn't a joke or a fear tactic
it's just annoying. like this isn't an acknowledged problem for anyone else, but i notice it every fucking video and i hate leaving for the exact same reasons
The new TADC discourse is unserious as hell. Like I used to DISLIKE Jax indiscriminately until they actually put nuance in his character to actually make you feel sympathetic for him you know. Every character is based off of what a real person can feel, forced into this cartoony simulation that can't handle a real person's anguish, resulting in abstraction
All I said was Jax has the more "taboo" mental illness symptoms as a trauma response to being trapped in a computer hell prison and reflecting that in an unhealthy manner that in fact hurts others because unfortunately suicidal self hatred thoughts can make you do shit you regret. When you push people away like THAT.
But NO one's ready for that conversation. And pop psychology is full of sanism. All I said was I understand where he's coming from. Like I have misophonia, I have held MANY grudges. But I don’t encourage bully behavior ever dude. Jax needs to learn from this or he'll just end up....abstracted. You know. Its looking bleak. If they weren’t trapped in hell Jax could actually get help easier. But its literally life or death
But then I got another autistic person in my comment section thinking I was trying to offend them specifically?? And people put likes on it? 💀
I'm concerned for y'all, its not your responsibility to look out for people who are like Jax but if that person is YOUR FRIEND wouldn't you give a damn about them? Even if theyre deflecting in a very hurtful manner? Its so obvious how Jax was lying in a self hatred loop
I hate lateral ableism lol.

not to be one of those people but Jax haters are kinda ableist lowkey
as someone with a mental illness that makes me behave in less then savory ways there is this weird thing where people who are normally like “mental heath matters” suddenly switch up once mentally ill people have symptoms that aren’t just crying. mental illness can make you a real dick sometimes and I wish more people understood that.
edit: yeah I know being mentally ill is not an excuse for abuse but a lot of Jax haters just think she is just plain evil and don’t really examine why and end up saying a lot of ableist things as a result.
Mental illness is not just crying. It is very unpleasant. We need help, we don’t need to be demonized for something we can’t control.
Representation matters. Jax means a lot to me as someone who struggles with their mental heaths and seeing people demonize her for showing symptoms shows we need this rep more then ever
minor episode 9 spoilers
for more context I think Jax show a lot of symptoms for BPD such as
dissociation and depersonalization (“none of this is real”)
suicidal thoughts and actions (abstraction attempts.)
Pushing loved ones away from fear of rejection and abandonment (Pomni and ribbit)
unstable sense of self ( the whole architpe thing is a way to cope with not having a sense of self, people with BPD tend to “adopt” a personality to mask themselves, we can see that since episode 6 onwards when the architype was seen through that she does not exhibit any personality traits of her own besides being depressed)
chronic feeling of boredom and emptiness ( one of the reasons she acts out during adventures is to feel something and avoid the reality of the circus.)
risk taking ( Jax often acts violently during adventures because of the whole “none of this is real mentality. This is a huge part of why the fast food adventure was so painful for her.)
Black and white thinking ( the arcitype mindset she has does not allow for any nuance,)
I could go on but we would be here all day.
for a brief time in my life I had thought I had BPD (turns out I just have autism which causes me to have unstable moods)
since my brand of autism has a lot in common with BPD i relate to Jax a lot and it makes me really depressed to see so many people demonize her for a disorder she cannot control.
this is a clear example of how much BPD and personality disorders are demonized and it makes me so depressed to see how many “mental heath advocates: abandon someone as soon as they have socially unacceptable symptoms and disorders
genderfluid ralsei because dark fountains are fluid
flowers don't usually have to deal with attraction ok? give him a break
Asgore in Chapter 5 is weird
Here's a sort of short post, but I got to thinking about Asgore in Chapter 5 the other day during work, and I kinda realized something... I don't think Asgore's turnaround at the end of Chapter 5 makes much sense at all. I don't just mean in the sense that it's rushed, or that we barely see any of Asgore so there's no buildup, or that his relationship with the rest of the flowers, which are meant to parallel his behavior to his actual family, is all but ignored by him making the resolution pretty ironic... I mean, Kris getting hurt in the Dark World shouldn't have changed him the way it did. At the end of Chapter 5, Asgore proclaims that, upon seeing Kris hurt, he realizes that he was so busy chasing Dark Worlds, to find the truth, that he sees now that he neglected his family's actual feelings about himself and the situation as his own self-hatred consumed him and drove him away from them. None of this is to say that his fascination and concern around the Dark Worlds was a lie, however. Sure, part of the reason he was so motivated was to prove that he was right, and to absolve himself from his perceived guilt, but... that doesn't mean that Dark Worlds don't genuinely fascinate him, or that he's wrong about them being dangerous. He still has a duty to figure this mystery out. He's still, seemingly, under Carol's thumb and is financially incentivized to find out more. If the Knight weren't to kidnap Asgore, I highly doubt that he would've just completely stopped all this research after just finding out that actual genuine real-life ALTERNATE DIMENSIONS exist.
All of this is to say... what notions towards Dark Worlds does Asgore have during Chapter 5? They're mysterious, they're dangerous, and they were likely involved in the single greatest tragedy in his entire life. In his friends' and familys' entire lives.
Asgore is also, of course, motivated by wanting things to go back to the way they were. He wants to be with Toriel again, to be with his family again. Not just to show he was right, but to protect them. Why else would he be freaking out over Kris being in the Dark World? This is what this Chapter sets up, throughout the entire thing. Then, we get to his turnaround. Upon seeing Kris sprawled out on the ground, weak from battle, being yelled at by Flowery (More on him in a bit)... he runs over, clearly scared and infuriated at the situation... but then, right after Blue heals them, he just... calms down right away, and goes onto Vaguedump about The Incident. As shown in the first image here, he even blames HIMSELF for Kris getting hurt here, when... I mean yeah, I guess in a way it was but like... Flowery is RIGHT behind you, dude!
Kris didn't just 'get hurt.' They got hurt from Flowery. They got hurt in a Dark World. The EXACT thing he's been worrying about this entire time! And the thing is, he DID do everything in his power to stop that from happening, by kicking Kris out. The only reason he failed at that was because FLOWERY was keeping Asgore in the dark the entire time. Something that Asgore... begrudgingly tolerates WAY more than he has any right to, especially right after he fucking BEATS UP HIS CHILD. Now granted, we don't know exactly how much Asgore knows here (for some reason.) We don't know if Asgore knows that Flowery only exists like this because of the Dark World (Though idk what other conclusion he'd come to, really...) but that really shouldn't matter when everything this chapter was building up to with Asgore just, went away. Because it was time for the End of Chapter monologue. Asgore's anger towards Flowery just disappears. Nothing comes from his slowly growing disdain besides... a calm rejection. Idk, I want to feel stronger about this let down, but I just... can't. I wasn't that excited for Asgore really but I expected more than this. He's a bystander in his own standout Chapter. We don't learn anything new from him, only just droplets of the past. He HAD an interesting arc being built up, perhaps letting us see a side to him we had only learned in passing in UT, but... that just ends in a wet fart. There's nothing. He's just a bystander.

i think the whole ralsei, spamton and flowery gender issue can be boiled down to the fact that people on this website are terrified of being able to enjoy or even relate to characters (and people) that don't identify the same exact way as them. because that would mean that they're really not as different as they want to think they are, and that it IS actually possible to befriend and understand people of other genders and theyre NOT actually completely different species
Thank you for your submission
upsetting to me that characters like Flowery and Noelle are being reduced down to their relationships (especially romantic/romantic coded ones) especially as a loveless anattractional person
Thank you for your submission
too many people eroticize Aqua and even make her a loli
Thank you for your submission
last aqua anon you see how her being a child (?) (minor 'coding' is a whole can of worms) makes it worse right. Stop excusing Toby's bs. " I have a baby and it's you" look it up
