When last we left this tepid adventure....
I had rescaped my oldest aquarium. Now revisiting my Lazy River redesign four weeks later:
Adding final plants.
And added some new fish- a couple new breeding guppies and something I’ve wanted for a while....
Longfin white clouds, also sold as Meteor Minnows. I had a school of these back in the ‘90s. I haven’t seen them for sale since; they never really got popular in the US and I purchased mine from an importer. Never understood that, since long fins are about the only way to improve what’s already pretty close to the perfect aquarium fish.
Since this is one of the aquariums where the garden guppies overwinter, I’m keeping the stocking level low. It’ll be a nicely matured build by the time they’re coming back inside.
