A multitude of eyes - silently watching, judging, beating down on me with a deafening silence. They look at my too-long legs, my crooked nose. They look at the deep purple bruises mottling my skin, but pretend to not see. I will show them something they cannot ignore.

🍧- Edward has wiped away the entirety of his childhood from public record. From school and legal documents to hospital records to photographs, it's gone gone gone. 👻- Not in the traditionally superstitious sense, no. That doesn't stop him from being scared if the mood is right though.

Jonathan

💐- Ignore the fact that I've drawn Jon with a bouquet of sunflowers before haha. Bouquet for Jonathan... wolf's bane (poisonous), red poppy (ties to the plague), and spider lilies (traditional funeral flowers), all of which are associated with death, with red spider lilies representing rebirth.

Any meaningful advancement of his work. Jonathan's sacrificed everything for the power his research in fear gave him. Not risking it all to continue would be like admitting what he's done thus far has been a wasted effort, or that he was wrong. He's not the type to let himself feel regret.

📚 BOOKS - how were they at school? what is their best subject? what is their worst subject? do they have a favorite subject?

Easily bored, passing grades. Best at history and comp sci; “worst” class was a university Ethics class where he would argue with the professor all the time. Favorite subject? Greek & Roman history, taken as an elective.

🪤 MOUSE TRAP - what will always lure them into certain danger? a loved one in danger? a promise of something they are always searching for?

The prospect of recognition, showing how smart he is, proving that he’s right. In short: his own ego.

Museverse Jonathan/Scarecrow (TBH I’m not as confident about these)

🚆 TRAIN - what is their answer to the trolley problem?

Multi-track drifting to hit all of them. He’d probably pull the lever and kill the individual person (less messy), then walk over to fear gas the survivors and see what sort of response would come from playing a part in another person’s death. He’s a bad person like that ✌️😊

🌠 SHOOTING STAR - if they could make any wish with no repercussions, what wish would they make?

I think with all the weird crap that goes on in the universe, Jonathan would be weary about making a wish. After a long period of thought, he’d wish for something he could use - unlimited research funding, maybe powers like time manipulation.

You caught me while I’m working on Scriddler art, so I’m about to expound more than necessary LMAO

Museverse Edward and Jonathan do live together, so they see each other quite often. But as for extended periods outside of when they happen to crash into bed at the same time, it's a matter of stars aligning. Both are busy bodies and respect that villain work is a core priority of each other's lives. That said, Edward desires attention more frequently, but is harder to drag out of his own mind when he’s got an idea brewing. Still, as "self employed" men who make their own schedules, they can afford to take long vacations if desired.

Added note: Some might interpret the relationship as more one-sided than it actually is since Edward is primarily the one to initiate spending time together/intimacy, but that's not the case. MV Jonathan typically won't seek out companionship at all due to social anxiety and being a bigass hater for little reason, so it's a huge deal that he's communicative and close with Edward.

Their favorite places change up depending on hideout location. Jonathan prefers soul food and late-night greasy spoon diners. He doesn't keep a regular meal schedule, so he tends to fat and carb load between long bouts of not eating properly.
