Community for me is a massive party of my values. I lived for so long feeling lonely, bullied at school, not being invited to the parties, not being able to embrace myself fully for fear of rejection, missing out on information, missing out on life because I wasn’t part of the cool gang. Loneliness can be a killer. When I started letting down some walls, when I started embracing me whole heartedly that’s when I found my tribe. My community. I might be wired (I know I am my kids tell me all the time). But that’s good. I fit in with my crowd because I am. I’ve always felt a bit awkward in situations, but that’s because I was trying to fit my wonky self into a boringly straight hole. My community, that chaotic mum community allows the wonky bits. In fact it’s a rule on the door. No perfection allowed. Now where are you at? Give me a wonky all the way in the comments if you are embracing you exactly as you are?? #family #friends #community #tribe #mumtribe #motherhoodunplugged #motherhoodtribe #mumlifeuk #mumsofinstagram #wonkymum #mumof4 #wabisabi https://www.instagram.com/p/CjpOtrLM0Gu/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
