I’ve been gone from the fandom for awhile. Recently I decided to return and reread up MTMTE/LL only to discover it ended! Oh no! I heard the ending was well done for the most part.

Ok I’ve had this idea bubbling around in my head for a while: Wings of Fire and Transformers Lost Light crossover. I know I know, I can hear you groan as soon as you read the word “crossover” but hear me out if you know both of these series.

So at the end of Lost Light one ending is very ambiguous, anything can happen in this plot line where the crew goes on adventures forever. Soooo basically they find the planet of dragons and they land on Pyrrhia thinking, “hey there’s some organics here let’s just fuckin say hello” or something.

For this scenario let’s say they arrive during the second arc, sometime around book 6 and the Lost Light lands near the border of the Sandwing and Rainwing kingdoms.

The Lost Light crew expects the dragons to be somewhat technologically advanced, almost on par with Earth Humans. But no- dragons are literally just fuckin banging sticks and rocks together compared to cybertronians. Realizing they have no place on this planet they’re about to leave but then Megatron of all people discovers the writings of Queen Coral and takes an interest in dragon culture and writing.

On the flip side dragons’ minds are exploding. Aliens?? Animus touched metal?? Giant scavengers??? What??? They’re coming out of a colossal metal box in the desert, three moons help these dragons.

Queen Glory and Queen Thorn kick into extreme caution mode. It only makes sense that they would be suspicious of them. Glory goes out to inventigate with a stealth squad of RainWings.

Suffice to say the autobots are in for quite a shock as well when a trio of organic predacons materialize out of thin air.

Brainstorm takes an interest in the biology of RainWings. How to they camouflage? Why does sleeping affect their camouflage? Does RainWing venom affect mechanical organisms?

Deciding that it’s probably best to explore Pyrrhia undercover, the crew gets dragon holomatter avatars.

Please feel free to add your thoughts but here’s what tribe I think the members of the Lost Light would be. I don’t have a whole lot of reasoning for these.

Rodimus is a SandWing

Megatron is a NightWing

Ultra Magnus is a SeaWing

Alternatively, Minimus Ambus could be a camo-less RainWing like Chameleon.

Cyclonus is a SkyWing

Tailgate is a MudWing

Chromedome is a SeaWing

Rewind is a SandWing

Whirl is an IceWing

Brainstorm is a RainWing

Ratchet is a SeaWing
