Sometimes, the quest for frugality can drive us to do ugly things. One of those things is mooching.
You probably know some mooches in your life. I know I do! In every social group, there’s That One Guy who comes to every party, eats and drinks as though he’s storing up for a long winter’s hibernation, and never offers to bring anything or chip in. He begs rides and never offers gas money. If you do him a favor, you’re extremely unlikely to be thanked with a kind word, a gift, or a return favor in the future.
On the other hand, in the rare instances where That One Guy actually orders a pizza for the group, out comes the calculator. He’ll send you a dead-serious Venmo request for $2.40 for your 1/8 of the pie. And no, he did NOT forget to factor in the tip, sales tax, or delivery fee.

Li/Year 3/Week 2/Day 5
I can't believe we're almost done with the Li family's rotation! It's early morning and Hiram is up making pancakes. Man, he's got some skill flipping flapjack's like that! I'm impressed! Unfortunately, he took too long and was almost late to work and Alissa and Claire were already gone for the day so I just had him put them in the fridge for later. It's the thought that counts, Hiram.
Well isn't this just lovely? It appears someone has kicked over the trash can while the family was sleeping. Ugh..I guess we know what Alissa is doing when she gets home since she’s the first one due home.
Later on Hiram went to the Red House family center for some bowling, socializing and apparently mooching off of Freddy, whom he doesn’t even know!
Umm..I have never seen this animation before! I don't know when Freddy started thinking he was a psychiatrist, but he's giving Hiram an ink blot test! LOL! Maybe it's because he kept trying to mooch money off of him!
I finally decided to make Hiram go upstairs so Freddy could get back to his bowling game with his friends. Hiram seems to be quite skilled at Shuffle Board.
**I had a several more screenshots, but they were saved to my Drive and apparently that decided to quit syncing...soo once I finally got that figured out my screenshots were GONE!
Helping one another out was the village way of life. That was precisely why becoming ostracized left people without options. But relying on everyone else all the time was proof that a household couldn’t make it on their own, and there was no way mooching would be tolerated. Self-sufficiency meant hard work.
