I like the fact that they did not gave Lute any big villain scene in this season.
It would have killed the effect of Vox's villain arc. Lute is clearly going to become a big villain in the upcoming seasons but giving her too much attention would have took away the attention from the vees in this one. It also would have erased the emotional weight of Lute's grief that was seen in Gravity.
Season 2 was hype but it was still a buildup. The story is incomplete and we will get our answers and conclusions. Angel Dust's redemption, Huskerdust, Lute's complete breakdown, Valentino and Vox's facing consequences, Lilith, Lucifer's powerup and even Charlie's character development are important plot points. We are eager to see them but they can't be rushed or it won't feel real enough. LET'S BE PATIENT GUYS. WE HAVE BEEN FED ENOUGH THIS SEASON, IT'S JUST THE 2nd SEASON! Let's save some cookies for the upcoming ones yeah?
I also have a theory that they are going to rise the stakes and threat level each season. Adam didn't felt as dangerous as Vox. They are kind of piling up villains which is going to end up in a big clash and someone from the main cast is going to die. (I am scared that it will be Vaggie)
I know some of us are disappointed about Lute not having a big scene in the end of season but I want people to be PATIENT cuz she WILL come back and WILL DO some damage.
