PT. 1: Before the Story
-Button (Zapper #27) is one of the many TV remotes owned by the Dreemurr family. When Asriel and Kris were growing up, they were used more as a prop for various games on top of security guard make-believe.
-During one of their games, Button got lost in the couch. This caused them to experience something not unlike derealization in the dark world, which caused a major shift in their perspective.
-Someone mentioned the remote Susie pulls out of the couch. That's Button now. Don't ask how they never met it's fine.
-After the lightners left, Button decided to go to the Dark Sanctuary to see its Prophecy. Unfortunately, their Prophecy says that despite everything, they will never amount to anything more than an ordinary zapper, relegated to the background.
-They happen across a hallway of more Prophecy panes, all of which simply say the word "UNLESS". The glass spans for countless paces, and Button decides that must mean the Prophecy is mocking it, so it heads back home.
PT. 2: Early Days
-Button heads back to work as usual. They begin their time as âĄđ anon so that the other zappers don't know who they are, since it seems security is lacking and various Spamtons continually enter the studio.
-During a particularly bad breakdown their boss @ask-tenna was having, Button decides to give him some space and starts taking asks themself.
-Button begins officially considering their name to be "Button".
-Button helps clean up both literally and legally regarding what can only be described as "the pipe bomb incident".
-A tasque makes its way to the studio and periodically hangs out with Button.
-Button starts talking to @ask-lanino-and-elnina, and in turn, they trust Button with an egg.
-Button is regularly haunted by @maliceanon, previously known as Heavenly.
-Button meets @december-knight and gives her some TV Dinners. She initially scares the crap out of them, but they work it out.
-There's some kind of dinosaur incident and @who-is-mike Pluey (probably) takes care of it.
-Button ends up on egg-sitting duty again, receives some rocks, a plant, a visit from @local-pipis, and an egg from @not-too-unimportant
-Button receives their one and only M!A which stretches them for five asks. They collaborate with Addisons and use their previous security clearance to avoid more M!As in the future.
PT. 3a: The Actualization Arc
-Maliceanon continues haunting Button, and while it is trying to care for the new egg from Elnina and Lanino, Maliceanon hits Button in the head with a giant book and gets sent to the medical bay in the studio. Tenna stops by to check on them.
-It just so happens that @13-unlucky-pippins ends up in the infirmary at the same time as Button from a bullet wound.
-The mysterious cane shadowguy anon makes an appearance. Who are you and what do you want from me /silly
-Tenna's show gets put on hiatus for reasons beyond Button's awareness.
-Button has an oddly familiar dream as a result of their injuries and recovery regarding their sense of self, worth, and conflicting feelings about their role and the roles of others.
-Button's dream sends them into a heightened state, they experience panic attack-like symptoms, and eventually decide to meet up with an old friend to discuss some of their issues.
-Button is asked by @ask-the-chaoschaos to please let him know when Tenna comes back.
-Maliceanon starts taunting Button about the dream they had.
-Button reschedules their hangout with their friend to be sooner.
-Button gets a free sample from @the-lavender-salesman to help with the stress of the hiatus and recurring panic attacks.
-Button has another panic attack, and reveals that their memory from before the blog is a bit fuzzy.
-Tenna comes out of his room, but Button decides against investigating.
-Button gets a surprise visit from @shadowguy-friday while they're in the middle of busywork despite the hiatus. Friday shows up with a plate of cookies from his friend Chip with the intention of seeing what's been wrong with Button lately. It just so happens that as he walks in the door, Tenna calls Button with the intention of also stopping by for comfort after hiding away for a few days.
-Tenna, Button, and Friday have a hangout. It starts out super awkward because Friday thinks Tenna is mad at him, Tenna thinks Button and Friday are mad at him, and Button has literally never had guests over before and does not know either of them well enough to know exactly how to comfort them and ends up almost fumbling the whole interaction.
-Eventually, everyone sort of opens up and everyone feels a little better and closer by the end. Suggestions to hang out again are made.
-Button gets a delivery from @mr-ant-tennas-kitchen-crew, delivered by a very glittery purple pippins named Dieci.
-Button goes back to Cyber City to hang out with Cassia, their Addison friend. They talk for several hours about various things, until eventually the Prophecy comes up. Cassia upsets Button and eventually causes them to petrify.
-Cassia starts feeling strange sensations which manifest as messages on her screen. (@ask-cassiaaddison)
-Maliceanon brings Button's body back to the studio after Tenna's fight with @its-just-showbiz's fell!Tenna. After coming back to, Button, a few zappers, and a pippins work to bring their boss inside. They tell Jevil to stay by Tenna's side during repairs.
-Conro the giant shadowguy eating video game controller spider (@probably-underyourfurniture) brings Button a friendship bracelet! How cute! And not at all threatening!
-Button decides to go home after talking to Maliceanon, the knight, and Conro. They make it back to their apartment, get overwhelmed, and break one of the teacups Cassia gifted them by mistake.
-Button gains adoration in the form of a church, @church-of-powerbutton. This makes Cassia a little jealous on her blog and Button VERY worried.
-Button goes outside to calm down from a panic attack and finds a strange piece of glass in the snow. It follows some footprints back to an apartment building, and Maliceanon follows close behind. Button finds Chip and returns the glass to him.
-Button has auditory hallucinations of their rhapsotea music, which sounds like the freedom motif.
-It turns out Chip found a part of Friday's Prophecy which says that if neither of them confess their feelings for the other, Friday's voice will give out forever, a fate worse than death to many shadowguys. Chip broke the glass and smuggled it all home so Friday wouldn't see it.
-Button offers to help him ask Friday out by dragging the two of them to Kitchen County for pastries. In return, Chip teaches Button how to repair ceramics.
-Button meets @giovanni-the-shadowguy and they play music terribly together.
-Button meets @purple-pippins-askblog and learns about the Pippins mafia. Button isn't too sure what their goal is and can't find any specific information regarding it beyond Purple's participance.
PT. 3b: Kitchen County
-Button, Friday, and Chip make their way to Kitchen County, a part of TV World which is almost entirely its own dark world, but still relies on the fountain in the living room.
-The trio first meets Rex, a small, toy zapper who can stretch and bounce. He drives the bus to and from Kitchen County to deliver TV Dinners and the like. After a horribly bumpy ride, she falls down one of the purple cliffs, demonstrating their stretching ability.
-Button experiences intrusive thoughts regarding hurting Chip and copes by instead giving him a cool pebble.
-They reach Kitchen county and part ways with Rex. They walk into Pippin Dots, the store Dieci runs, only to find that she and another shadowguy, Romnie, are already in a fight. Button and Friday elect to not resort to battling, but Chip seems ready to throw some punches. The other two talk him out of it.
-Dieci's head goes flying out a window and Button returns it to her body. Romnie exits the scene after cursing with Friday for a second.
-Dieci serves up some Pippin Dots to the gang. She and Button go upstairs to hang out while Friday and Chip have a moment alone.
-Button uncovers the frozen and unconscious body of Giovanni in the freezer, and, after attempting to free him from his giant ice cube, the sugar floor gives way below them and Dieci, landing on and stunning Chip. He's a bit zoned out for the rest of the visit.
-Giovanni finally thaws out and he sounds like... an accordion? Seems like we've got another shadowguy who's hiding his music in our midst.
-Dieci leaves the four of them in the storefront area to avoid any more awkwardness, since she's the one who put Gio in the freezer in the first place. Button helps Gio out of the store and Friday tenderly picks Chip up, who is now fast asleep, to do the same.
-On their way back to the bus stop, Button mentions to Gio and Friday that if either of them every need anything to please tell it. Giovanni thinks about it, and Friday attempts to ask for reassurance that Chip will love him back despite everything, but the words don't come out. Button tells him that he's capable of more than he believes.
-Friday sings a song and Button tells him that he should play it for Chip someday. They comment that it feels like being with whoever you call home. Friday takes the comment to heart, and, funnily enough, Button does too.
PT. 3c: The Actualization Finale
-Button goes back to TV World and immediately books it to Cyber City, where Cassia is thinking about her past and what it means for her future, as well as how she could ever possibly make up with Button.
-Button happens to show up while she's thinking. They have a long talk about the Prophecy, and how the differences between how they view the Prophecy, their own fates, and mental health impact how they each feel. Button has mostly mixed and negative feelings due to their experiences, while Cassia's are much more positive, because it provided her with so much hope and stability. They agree to disagree and become closer than ever. Button repairs the teacup they dropped.
PT. 4a: Is Where the Heart Is/Be Still My Beating Heart
-Dieci makes another surprise delivery, this time as an apology for scamming them with ice cream. She offers them knitted clothes and some real cookie dough ice cream infused with... something. Button doesn't eat the ice cream but they take the clothes.
-Button stumbles across the church building, inside which only houses @reverb-shadowguy. They talk for a little bit, but it seems neither of them know much about the place.
-New hire @shadowguy729 asks for directions around the studio. Button shows Behop around.
-Purple gets banged up pretty bad with rocks and the mafia trio @ask-the-pippinses asks for directions to the medical bay.
-Button gets dropped into a bottomless pit, and to pass the time, discusses things like the make-believe Kris and Asriel used to play with them, the fact that Chip breaking a part of the Prophecy doesn't make it go away, and listens to an anon talk about a world in which monsters and humans went to war, and when humanity won, they sealed monsters underground. Thank goodness that last one was just a story.
-Button hears about a certain pippins who seems to have lost himself. They make note to figure out who that is.
-Behop offers Button some cookies. Button begins sharing the extras around with their friends, including a new friend, @reuben-the-pippins. It hints to Reuben that they think he would also get along with Chip and Friday.
-Button offers a box of CD Bagels to Tenna as a gift to celebrate his recovery. Tenna graciously accepts.
-Button gives @plug-n-play-pluey a cookie, and Pluey gives Button a hug.
-Behop requests assistance from Button to help wrangle a giant octopus. It takes a bit of work, but they manage to get it out.
-Button lists out all the ways that things seem to be looking up! What could possibly go wrong!
-Button has another few panic attacks and gets misgendered in Cyber City. They stop at Cassia's place to avoid petrifying.
-After having lunch together, Button makes its way back to TV World to decorate their apartment.
-Purple comes back to let Button know they've recovered.
PT. 4b: Star Light Star Bright (Introduction)
-Button goes outside to calm down from a panic attack, suffering from a bell-induced migraine. They find a path of footprints and a piece of ceramic on the ground. Chip is hurt and wandering around aimlessly in the snow. Button drags him back to his apartment and shouts into every shadow they see to get Friday's attention.
-Once Button gathers all of Chip's pieces, they find the ceramic repair kit and attempt to start repairing him. Friday shows up and immediately blames himself for the situation.
-Button convinces Friday to be honest about his feelings, and Friday plays some of the most beautiful music Button or Chip have ever heard him play. Button manages to repair Chip.
-Chip notices that Friday's wearing the scarf he would have made for him... he realizes that he has been transported to an alternate timeline, and Button has to explain to Friday what magic!anons are.
-Chip hugs Friday as he turns to stone. Friday enters a state of panic, but Button manages to calm him down and promises to do whatever it takes to bring Chip home. Friday falls asleep from exhaustion, and Button tucks him in and tidies up the apartment. Button sleeps on the floor.
-Button leaves early in the morning for a treat break. Behop happens to be there, and invites them to their apartment to do some science regarding alternate timelines and universes. Button decides to extend the offer to Friday when he gets up.
-Button returns to the apartment to see Friday is still asleep. They decide to go back to bed, as well.
-Friday wakes Button up to let it know he'll be heading to Cyber City. Button doesn't have it in them to admit that they're the reason Cassia sent the letter he got, and puts their entire being into hiding it from Friday. This certainly will not have consequences.
-Button gives Friday pretty much their entire wallet and says "don't worry about it" like that's a normal thing normal people do.
-Button lets Friday know that they need to meet back up later with Behop to discuss their findings. Friday practically begs Button to keep him updated before they part ways. Button promises They hug it out, and in a moment of vulnerability, Friday does the classic cat head bump. He's immediately embarrassed though, so he flees into the shadows before Button can even say or do anything.
-Button takes a moment to air out their frustrations surrounding Friday's lack of communication. They wish they could say it to his face just how worried they are, but its also worried that bringing it to Friday's attention without thinking about how to go about it may make him feel worse. Talking to the empty apartment does the trick for the moment, and it makes its way to Castle Town.
-Kidney seller anon shows up and asks for Button's batteries. They tell him they have spares at home. KSA steals them, but there's no charge. They explode one with lightning but manage to recharge the other.
-Narrator reveals sentience and claims to be able to control when/how they communicate with Button, but refuses to answer asks.
-Button doesn't find much just yet about the cliffs. They send Friday a few texts anyway.
PT. 4c: Deal Gone Wrong
-A mysterious person contacts Button regarding Friday in a threatening and cruel manner. Button accidentally says too much about Friday's whereabouts not knowing their full intentions, and now has to reach Cassia's apartment before they get to Cassia and Friday first.
-Button arrives at the apartment, only to find that the mystery person, an Addison named Vestal, has already beaten Button there. A fight gets initiated, and Vestal forces Friday to turn on his friends. (Link is to Button's first appearance, full RP will be linked at the end when it is complete.)
-Cassia teaches herself a new spell (branched spell from Heartstrings into Heartstrings Major/Minor.)
-Vestal uses his Tuning Whistle to take control over Friday in battle. It seems Friday is still conscious underneath.
-Vestal reveals one of his spells which can call upon M!As. One appears mid battle which causes Friday to become stronger.
-After some fighting, Cassia manages to retrieve Vestal's whistle while he's distracted trying to get Friday to attack. Button destroys the whistle and Vestal begins glitching out. Friday returns to Button and Cassia's side.
-Cassia starts to lose her ability to keep her focus, and Friday uses Harmonic Duet to try to help. They perform together and it's glorious.
-Button takes a shot at Vestal's head while he's overclocking and breaks his earpiece. Then, while he's freaking out more, Button uses Power Off.
-Button and Cassia bring Friday to the couch after the fight has ended to comfort him. The M!A spell Vestal used wears off. Cassia hands him his scarf, which now sports a massive tear. Friday begins to petrify.
Dieter is at least a LITTLE out of touch, but not necessarily "bratty" at this age... And it's all from his upbringing. This post goes very in-depth, but to simply summarize:
Dieter was, in every definition of the word, an unwanted child. Beef & Kaley didn't plan on having kids (They were in HIGH-SCHOOL at the time), but both their families told them that if they followed through with an abortion, they would both be disowned. So, the two left! It took a long time for them to find a new place to live, get jobs, etc. And by the time they finally got settled, it was too late to abort anyway.
Beef & Kaley genuinely tried their best to raise this child that ruined their lives... But it was hard. Especially given that they, being high-school drop-outs, and still very young, struggled to earn livings. They needed to work HARD, which meant neglecting Dieter a LOT. Eventually, they progressed in their careers and actually became fairly well-off. And that led to a new way of neglecting Dieter. If he had a problem, they would just throw money at him so he'd shut up and be happy. Lots of thoughtless gifts and credit cards were given to him in the place of parental love and affection. After YEARS of this, Dieter became very spoiled, entitled, and emotionally immature. Expecting to be handed whatever he wanted, and not understanding why some things he did upsets people. And by this point, his parents had completely given up on him... They were actually RELIEVED when he went missing
Now that Beef & Kaley are older and have more experience... They're just hoping this second child won't turn out like Dieter did.........
This recap is fairly long and detailed, it reads a little like a fic. Fair warning.
OK! So we start off with a recap of the previous Egg lore streams last week! This recap takes a while but Iâm going to skip it for now since I havenât watched every POV and those streams are from last week. After the recap, we see Badâs POV of the events directly after the Red Banquet. He flees on a boat across the ocean, thinking about how he found the Egg and what it, or rather he has done.
He lands on BD island, where Skeppy has been living alone, apparently refusing to talk to Bad. Bad stands at the door to the house and tells Skeppy that he was right about the Egg, he seems horrified that he attempted to kill all his friends, and wonders if theyâll ever be able to forgive him. He then goes to sit on a dock outside.Â
(ANIMATION) While Bad is sitting on the dock, Skeppy exits the house and slowly comes to stand beside him, holding a diamond sword. Bad, without looking up, asks Skeppy if he thinks their friends will ever be able to forgive the Red Banquet. Skeppy says he thinks they will. The screen then cuts to black, the animatic ends, and we hear the sound of a sword swinging. It is heavily implied that Skeppy has killed Bad.(ANIMATION END)
Bad wakes up in his bed at the mansion, and we see that his clothing (previously turned white by the Eggâs influence) is now back to its usual red tinting. This is essentially an unspoken way of communicating that Badâs death has freed him from the Egg. Iâm unsure if it was a canon death or not. Badâs soul is tied to Skeppyâs life and Iâm not sure if canon deaths mean anything as he is effectively immortal in that regard. Bad, after just laying bed for a while, gets up and leaves the mansion. It is an overcast day on the Dream SMP.
We then go into another cutscene, but itâs more of a continuous flying shot. We start at the nether portal, and ominous, tense music is playing. As we fly down the prime path, the scene flashes from normal to covered in Crimson with the beat of the music. Itâs almost as if weâre seeing flashes of either the future, or an alternate world where the Egg takes over. The shot slows down as it reaches Badâs Mansion. Through the arch on the prime path just before it lowers to Badâs house, we see a consistent Crimson view. Outside of this framed arch, the world is normal. The camera slowly enters under the arch, and as we come out the other side we enter an entirely Crimson world.
After this ominous view of the greater prime area, we cut to the present where Bad is heading into the community house. There he meets Ponk and Eryn, all of them are in full netherite except for a lack of helmets. Bad, who is clearly in charge, goes over the plan - They plan to enter the Eggâs current room, look any signs of Puffy, and then leave. The reason they arenât wearing helmets is because Bad has given them iron ones, which theyâll wear in the Eggâs room to protect their minds (the Egg is weak against iron.) They are in full netherite because they expect resistance from the others (Sam, Ant, Hannah, CPK) and are willing to get in there by any means necessary.
We then cut to Sam, who leaves his bank and heads to a trapdoor just outside, where he descends into a bunker-like area. Hannah, Ant, and CPK are all already there. Their plan is: keep Bad, Ponk, and Eryn out of the Eggâs room by any means necessary. They believe that the three have been possessed by the Egg, and are trying to release it. Sam also adds that heâs added âsurprisesâ in case things get messy. CPK expresses doubt that this is the only way, it seems as though he doesnât want to fight the other three, but the rest of the group convinces him.
We cut back to Bad and his group, who are walking down the path, talking about how all known entrances to the Eggâs room have been sealed overnight somehow. This was done by Antâs group to force them toward the spawner entrance, but the three donât know that. They head to the spider spawner where the other four are waiting for them.Â
Ant, who is in front, and his group confront Bad, Eryn, and Ponk. Bad pleads to the other group to allow them to look for Puffy, but is refused. They all accuse each other of working for the Egg, with Bad saying it seems as though thereâs something down there âyou donât want us to see.â Ponk brings the three of them together in a group huddle and explains that they will distract the other group, and then Bad and Eryn can get to the Egg. They then approach the other side, where they claim they actually think Bad and Eryn are crazy and want to help stop them from getting the Egg. Ant and his group lower their guard, and Ponk attacks them, driving them away from the spawner entrance.Â
Bad and Eryn drop down, followed closely by Ant and Hannah. Ponk stops Sam from following, and reveals that they are the one that has taken Fran. They appear very angry, and want to get revenge on Sam. Sam begs for Fran not to be hurt, and Ponk demands he remove his armor and weapons, which he does.
The scene switches to Bad and Eryn, who have a head start and manage to get into the Red Banquet Hall, and seal up the entrance behind them to slow Ant, Hannah, and CPK down. Eryn hasnât really been here before and is curious, Bad tells him that the Egg teleported deeper underground after Foolish attempted to destroy it. Bad thinks the Egg is indestructible.
We cut back to Ponk and Sam, and from Samâs voice we can assume Ponk has been torturing him. Sam is slowly being backed into his own bank, with Ponk telling him how much their torture at his hands affected them. Sam begs them not to hurt Fran, and Ponk says that after theyâve finished with Sam, theyâll kill Fran slowly. Sam asks how can they do that if theyâre dead, and then seemingly uses a statis chamber to teleport out of the bank. Ponk is confused, until they realize that Sam rigged the building with TNT. They manage to say âOh sh-â before being blown to pieces.
We switch to Sam, who is dragging himself forward (through his house? Ponkâs house? Iâm not sure) muttering weakly that heâll save Fran over and over again. He collapses and dies from his injuries before he gets to where he was trying to go. Sad music plays as the camera leaves Samâs body and flies slowly down the hall to the end. Behind bars is Fran, tied to a post. Seeing as both Ponk and Sam are dead, we donât know what will happen as no one knows where this dog is. Fran whimpers, and the screen cuts to black.
Bad and Eryn make their way down Sam Bucketâs tunnels, except something is different. The place is covered in Crimson, and Bad says that the only way this couldâve happened is if someone broke the iron seal, and freed the Egg. As they get to the entrance, they realize the seal has indeed been destroyed, and they walk into the room, to stand in front of the Egg in all its glory. Really cool and ominous organ music plays as we get a full shot of the Egg, with them below it.
They look up and see that Puffy is trapped in a cage hanging from the ceiling of the room and isnât moving. Bad says that this mustâve been what the other group was trying to hide from them. Before they can free Puffy the other group arrives. They are also shocked to see Puffy, and Hannah and Ant immediately accuse Bad and Eryn of doing this. Ant goes off on Bad about being the source of all their problems related to the Egg. Bad says that Ant was just as involved as him. Ant says that Bad has lost nothing to the Egg, and got to escape it without harm. They accuse each other of working for the Egg again.Â
CPK gets in between them, claiming that they all care about Puffy and that they shouldnât argue. CPK defends Bad and Ponk, stating that the two of them were nice to him when he joined, and were his first friends. He turns to face Bad as he says that he believes him. Hannah protests, but CPK stays firm that they shouldnât be fighting, that they should listen to each other. He doesnât get to say anything else. As his back is turned, Ant strikes him down with an axe and kills him, right in front of the Egg.
Everyone is shocked, including Hannah. Ant says he canât do this anymore, he seems extremely agitated and not thinking clearly. Bad is extremely angry, and tells Ant that he will kill him before attacking. Ant is forced out of the room, and Bad follows. They fight for a bit, before Bad stops and pleads for Ant to listen and believe him when he says he isnât controlled. Ant swears to kill him and break the Eggâs perceived hold on him.
We switch to Eryn and Hannah who are also fighting. Hannah launches into a speech about how terrible Bad is, about how Bad is the one who did all the damage with the Egg before. She says she betrayed her friends because she trusted Bad. Eryn tells her that Bad isnât like that anymore, and that Hannah is scapegoating him for her own guilt and mistakes. Hannah admits that maybe she is, but at least she knows the danger of the Egg. Hannah once again tells Eryn that Bad is just tricking all of them, but Eryn doesnât believe her. Hannah lowers her weapon and says that she doesnât want to fight, and that maybe they can find Bad and Ant and talk it out. Eryn trusts her and lowers his weapon as well.
We cut back to Bad and Ant. Ant has Bad backed into a corner, where he is still pleading to be believed. Ant says that it doesnât matter if Bad or himself is controlled, only that this needs to end, and for that to happen Bad must die. Bad reluctantly responds that he will kill Ant to protect himself, and they launch into another fight.
We switch back to Hannah and Eryn. Eryn turns to question what to do with Puffy, and Hannah attacks him again, unwilling to risk the Egg winning. Just as she is about to kill him, Bad appears and shoves her into one of the many lava pits surrounding the Egg. He says, âIâm getting good at that.âÂ
It is implied that Bad has also killed Ant as well.
Bad and Eryn have a conversation about Erynâs parents. Eryn wants to ask the Egg where they are, and get its help. Bad knows that even if the Egg knows the truth, it will only ever hold it just out of reach. He promises to help find Erynâs parents once they get out of here, and Eryn agrees. Eryn is then shoved into lava by a previously unseen person, and the Egg begins to rumble. All the people being killed around it are acting as sacrifices, feeding its power. Bad is left the lone survivor of the group, and turns to face the person who killed Eryn: Puffy. Bad asks her why, and as she opens her mouth to speak, her voice morphs into that of the Egg. (The Egg is voiced by Velvet.)Â
The Egg launches into a very very good and very very long speech about how it has lived for eons but has constantly been thwarted by âheroes.â It speaks about the nature of humanity: to be controlled by fear and hatred, to turn on friends at the slightest provocation. It tells Bad that he belongs to it. It explains that the one who planted the evidence that split the group was Skeppy.Â
Although Skeppy was freed from the Egg, he feared for Badâs freedom, and made a deal with the Egg of his own volition so that it would release Bad from its grip. In return, he did its work for it. But none of that mattered in the end, according to the Egg, because Bad ended up right back in front of it anyway.Â
It tells Bad he belongs to it. It says, âYou are mine.âÂ
It says that he is destined to serve it until he dies, which wonât be long. It intends for Bad to be its final, and greatest sacrifice.Â
Bad doesnât even try to get away as Puffy raises her axe to kill him.Â
 And thatâs the end.Â
The credits roll, faded shots of the Dream SMP. It ends on a shot of the Egg. As the screen fades to black, we hear the unmistakable sound of an eggshell cracking.
The end.Â

a recap of what happened during technobladeâs 11/28/21 âJailbreakâ stream!
The stream starts off with Technoblade outside of the prison, with the blueprints in his inventory. He sees Ranboo being taken into the prison by Sam, but the portal is broken is broken behind them.
1 Day Later:
Techno, Phil and Niki are in the syndicate room. He announces he will be breaking Dream out of prison, since he owes him from saving him at the execution. And since he say Ranboo being thrown in, him and the other syndicates will free him as well.
They ride to the prison and store their horses in a tunnel Phil made. Techno tunnels underneath the prison, explaining the elder guardians travel through a railway system and he wonât be affected by it until he is on the inside.
He gets to Dream and gives him armour and weapons, and they attempt to find Ranboo while the alarms go off. Sam and BBH catch them, but they kill them a few times. Dream tries to convince him to just leave Ranboo, but he is insistent on finding him.
They end up finding Connor, who is in prison apparently, and brings him with them as well as Ranboo. They escape through the tunnel.
Outside of the prison, the *entire* server is waiting for them-- all they want is Dream.
Sam confronts Ranboo, and tells him to stand with him and take off his armour, quietly revealing that he has Michael (his kid) hostage. He obliges. If Techno and Dream donât stay, he will kill Ranboo. Dream does not care about him, and Sam kills Ranboo. Ranboo loses all of his canon lives.
Niki sets off withers (which Sapnap sees), and Phil, Techno and Dream escape on horses while the others briefly hunt them.
At their base, Techno does not care what Dream does, and even takes his armour back from him. The favour was to break him out, and after that he is on his own. His next plan is to go after Sam for killing Ranboo. Dream leaves, and Techno and Phil consider bringing him back because of his powers to bring people back from the dead.
Connor joins their group in the snow biome, and they will take him under his wing and train him.
Before Ranboo died, he gave Techno a photo of Michael, which he brings to Tubbo. Tubbo brings him to Michaelâs room-- but Michael is gone.Â
(You donât have to but bro I donât think I can handle watching it emotionally rn. Tales already broke me and I need some time to recover-)
Sure! I can do my best!
The stream was titled âThe Origins of Erynâ
The first part was in a cinematic style where we saw the story of Erynâs life before the SMP, all with no dialogue:
-We saw his father from the overworld go into the nether, where he met a demon woman, Erynâs mother
-His parents were enemies at first and they fought each other in the nether, but eventually they teamed up to fight zombie piglins together, and they became friends and fell in love
-Erynâs father and mother left the nether together to build a life together in the overworld, in a cute little village where Eryn was born
-Eryn and Tommy were neighbors and childhood friends in Erynâs village
-Eryn taught Tommy how to shoot a bow, Tommy taught Eryn how to swim, basically they were best friends
-One day Eryn went for a horse ride and when he came back he found his village in flames, his parents and Tommy all presumably dead. There were red vines and zombie piglins in the ruins
Then the stream switched to present day, Erynâs POV:
-He woke up in his bed at home after dreaming about his past, he felt weird and there were nether sounds in the background
-He saw Bad, who said things to him, but it was muffled and echoey so we couldnât really hear. As Eryn walked through the SMP, Bad followed
-Eryn said that he thought the Dream SMP was a âhappy placeâ but he could feel/hear death all around
-The place where Eryn could hear death the most was LâManhole, which he jumped down into
-He woke up in the water a couple seconds later in a sort of confused state, trying to remember how he got there, and saying he remembered walking but it had felt really weird
-There were muffled, echoey voices from the past from LâManburg, Eryn talked about how much death there was, and it was hard to hear a lot of the voices, but I could make out Techno yelling âYOU WANNA BE A HERO, TOMMY? THEN DIE LIKE ONE!â
-Eryn talked about how he understood why people didnât trust him, because everyone had been betrayed by their friends, but he just wanted to be trusted
-Eryn said âI just want some friends.â
Thatâs what I can remember, hopefully I didnât miss anything
