Persephone: "Welp, I guess this is what we're doing now!"

Cackletta: "Have you been enjoying your presents, my little dear?"

Peasley: "What do you people want??"

Fawful: "...... The restroom-" *Rushes inside*

Cackletta: "I told him to go before we left- All the gas stations and convenience stores were shut down 'cuz it's a holiday, and not even five minutes into our drive, he had to go—That's so typical of him, am I right, sibs?" *Chuckles*

Cackletta: "...... Well, that was rude! We picked out each and every one of those just for you, my sweetie-pie! Not only do you want to give us nothing in return, but now you say you didn't even LIKE them?? What a spoiled brat you are!"

Cackletta: "Just a bunch of mumbo-jumbo legal jargon a kid like you would get bored by. Besides. You already had a chance to read it."

Persephone: "Maybe, if he's a kid, he shouldn't be signing important legal documents??"

Fawful: "Wait- Might you need to use the restroom before we leave, too? It IS quite a lengthy journey home!"

Cackletta: "Mmm... Yeah, that would be smart." *Walks inside*

Cackletta: *Returns* "Alright, let's hit the road."

*Rips the contract into shreds* :)

Popple: "I don't know what I was thinkin'... Throwing away one of the only meaningful friendships I've made in this life, and did it all to impress those two JERKS..."

Popple: "It seems your other uncle and aunt left the house with a paper... Would you, by chance, know what dat is?"

Peasley: "Oh yeah, they asked me to sign a contract to make up for the presents they got!"

Popple: "... Say what now??... Well what was the contract FOR??"

Peasley: *Shrugs* "They told me not to worry about it and just sign it."

Popple: "......... You're joking."

Peasley: "Huh?"

Popple: "You didn't read ANY of it??"

Peasley: "They told me not to-"

Peasley: "... What do I do, then?"

Popple: "You sure didn't seem to care when THEY were hurting HER!!!"

Persephone: *Appears* "Popple quit- Does Peasley know what the paper is??"

Popple: "As a matter o' fact, he DOES!!! It was a contract, and he didn't even LOOK at it!!!"

Persephone: "... Oh, pour l'amour de Dieu..."

Peasley: "I didn't know!!!"

Persephone & Popple: "YOU SHOULD HAVE!!!"

Peasley: "Why would they want either of those?! I... Well, you guys know them best! Think! What would your siblings want most, more than anything?? Something / technically have the right to give them...?"

Peasley: "What-?"

Popple: "Oh no... Peasley, you've doomed us all!"

Popple: "We need to call Haru immediately!"

Persephone: "Service still isn't working..."

Peasley: "What are we supposed to do, then? Just brace for the worst?? I mean, how can-"

Persephone: "And... And I don't want to hurt Peasley! I feel like anything I do will upset him one way or another... He doesn't understand..."

Fawful: "Aw, how sweet... You know, we'd love to stick around, but it doesn't seem like your mother will keep us much longer...Such a shame. We really like you! And. Well, you seem like a nice kid...

Though, it WOULD be pretty neat if you were to pay us back for all those gifts..."

Cackletta: "No, no, not with such a meaningless thing... We were hoping you could repay us in a way just as meaningful as our presents!"

Peasley: "Uh... I could try to convince my mom to let you stay here longer...?"

Fawful: "Ehhhh..."

Persephone: "Peasley, your father wants to speak with you!" *Hands him her phone*

Peasley: "Wha-......... It says we lost connection." *Gives the phone back*

Persephone: "... Ugh. I'll go reset the router..."

Cackletta: "Anywaaays! You said you'd do anything to make your favorite auntie and uncle in the world happy~?"

Peasley: "Yep!"

Cackletta: *Pulls out a paper* "Well... We'd like you to sign this."

Cackletta: "He said BEAT IT. We're leaving."

Fawful: "Mm-hm. Why don't you suck your thumb and get out of our way??"

Cackletta: "Look, Poppy, we came here for a reason. Now we got what we wanted. There is nothing else to gain. So we will be on our way. And it'd be best if you stayed out of it. Unless, of course, you want us to give you a swirly just for old time's sake~?"

Persephone: (I can't take this crap anymore!!!)

Peasley: *Looks up* "Somethin' wrong, Mom?"

Popple: *Appears out of nowhere and shoves Persephone to the ground* >:D

Popple: *Starts removing his gloves*

Cackletta: "OOOH, DO I HEAR A PIE BEING TAKEN OUT OF THE OVEN!?!?"

*They immediately get up and leave Popple*

Peasley: "Mom, did you really make a pie-??"

Persephone: "Mm-hm... I started working on it much earlier in the day..."

Persephone: "I suppose so..." *Sets it down*

Fawful: "Her cooking skills are nowhere near as great as mine, of course."

Cackletta: "Really, I don't think there's ANY THING she's good at that we aren't better in..."

Popple: "Obviously NOT considering what PIGS both his parents are!!!"

Cackletta & Fawful: *More hysterical laughter*

Cackletta: "Ooh! I can't believe I've forgotten!" *Pulls out a gift. It's a fidget spinner* "For you!"

Popple: "Does anybody remember the time we went to a music store?? And Persephone tried playing a flute! And it sounded so bad all the windows and glass BROKE?? Ha ha haaaaa!!!"

Persephone: (In another room) "Peasley, aren't you going to eat all this?? It's gonna get cold!!!"

Peasley: "Um! No thanks! I'm not hungry!!!"

Cackletta: "You really should go finish eating, Peasley, I'm sure your mother worked very hard on that..."

Peasley: *Takes a bite* "Thanks, Auntie!"

Fawful: "... Hey kiddo, where is the restroom at? It was an awful long drive to get here, y'know!"

Peasley: "Right down that hall over there!"

Fawful: "Thanks!!!" *Runs off*

Popple: *Gets some food and sits down* :D

Persephone: "I'm gonna go get some emergency wine from the cellar..." *Walks off*

Persephone: "UGH!" *Storms off*

Popple: "Fawful...? What are YOU doing here??"

Fawful: "Oh? I just figured I'd pay my relatives a quick visit for the holidays."

Popple: *Gets up and walks alongside Fawful*

Fawful: (Annoyed) "Hey, y'know, Cackletta is here too, if ya wanna talk to her!"

Popple: "For real??" *Runs off*

Peasley: "Hm... I'm gonna go make sure Uncle Fawful didn't get lost..." *Leaves the room*

Popple: *Gets in Persephone's way as she walks by so she trips and falls* "WOAH!!! Easy there, sis, ya could've flattened me like a pancake!!!"

Cackletta: *Laughing her ass off*

Persephone: "..." *Just leaves*

Popple: "Watch yer step! We don't want an accidental murder on Thanksgiving!" *Peeks over to Cackletta to make sure she's still laughing* :3

Persephone: "... What's wrong, sweetheart?"

Peasley: "It's just... Really quiet around here..."

Persephone: "Oh. Yeah, I know... Believe me, I wish Mauve and Nabbit and all them could've been here, too! But that's out of our control... You know they'll attend next year! But, for now, let's just appreciate what we have. Okay?"

Peasley: "Okay..." *Sighs*

*CRASH*

Persephone: "AH WHAT THE-" D:

Peasley: "WE'RE BEING ROBBED!!!"

Cackletta: "Long time, never seen, my good fellow! Can we interest you in some gifts?? We have missed a loooooooot of birthdays and Christmases!!!" *Pulls out a boatload of gifts*

Peasley: "Wha-... I have another uncle?? And an aunt?? Mom, who are these people and why didn't you tell me about them??"

Persephone: "...... Remember how I said I never told you about your uncle Popple because he's such a... Bad influence?... These guys are worse."

Cackletta: "Besiiides, SIS, we've chaaanged! For better or for worse, I guess that's for you to decide... But may I say, your bundle of joy is ADORABLE~!!!"

Fawful: "Yes, why have you been hiding this pretty little thing from us?"

Persephone: "..............."

Fawful: "You know neither of us are capable of having progeny on our own... How could you be so cruel as to keep the only known children in our bloodline hidden from us??"

Peasley: *Has that "Oh, you poor thing" look*

"I'll be thirteen years sober next weekend!" :)

Fawful: (Is that really the worst thing she can think of?)

Peasley: "Dad does cocaine...! He still does!!"

Peasley: "Mom, no offense, but... I think you might be being a bit... Dramatic?"

Persephone: "EXCUSE ME!?!?"

Fawful: "I'd say he's right! Phew, you need to take a chill pill!!"

Peasley: "............... Please, Mom? Can they stay? Just for a little while?" :(

Persephone: "... Peasley, sweetheart... I... I guess I forgot to tell you... Haru isn't coming over for Thanksgiving this year..."

Peasley: "... What? Why??"

Persephone: "Well, he has a concert to host the day before, and there's supposedly a royal conference the day after... Plus, traffic will be horrendous that entire week... It's not likely he will be able to make it to all events, so... He's staying in Beanbean this year..."

Peasley: "Oh... Well... We can still call him or video-chat that day...! Just because he's not here in person doesn't mean he isn't here at all! He can be with us without leaving the comfort of his palace!" :D

Persephone: "Aw, what a marvelous idea... I'll be sure to have that arranged." *Walks off*

Mauve: "We're going on a business trip...! There's a little thing going on in the Mushroom Kingdom that everyone in my department must attend... It's for training—Some higher-ups changed a few policies, sooo, uhhhh, yeah..."

"And... Well, look, it's not that I don't trust you guys to take care of Motley! I just don't want her to be away from me for two whole weeks."

Mauve: *Nods* "And all expenses are being paid for by my company, so we'll be able to do all the tourist-y things that I wouldn't normally be able to afford! Training aside, it's basically vacation!"

Motley: *Squeals* "I'M SO EXCITED!!!"

Peasley: "But-"

Motley & Mauve: *Walk out*

Nabbit: "I'm going to my ma's."

Peasley: "... Wait, isn't she in jail??"

Nabbit: "Yeah, but... Ya see, the jail is running this little program where the children of inmates can come in and have a lil' holiday feast with their parent. They will be under close watch by guards, and the food'll prolly be trash, but..."

Peasley: "So, is Uncle Popple going with you?"

Nabbit: "Grown-ups aren't allowed in because they could be trying to help the inmates escape... Children are too stupid to do that, apparently... He'll be dropping me off, but he can't stay."

Peasley: "So then, HE will spend Thanksgiving here at the very least?"

Nabbit: *Shrugs* "I dunno, MAYBE??"
